i have a dual display setup. but when i set to the visualiser it only shows the patterns on the main display, but blacks out the other display. is there a way for it to show across ALL displays?
View 1 RepliesI am running my MacMini 1.83GHz, OSX10.6.3 through my 37" Sharp LCD TV as my media centre.
When I activate the iTunes visualiser in full screen, the image jumps and jagged lines appear randomly across the screen.
This does not happen if the visualiser Is running where you can see iTunes control bar above and below the visualiser graphics. It also does not seem to happen with any of the other iTunes built in visualisers.
I just downloaded seasons 1-4 of The Office, and they're in .AVI files. How do I import them into my iTunes TV Show Library? MUST I convert them ALL first?
Note, I want to view them on my iPod also.
I have been using the album art player thing in the new ITunes and now the album art unknown is really starting to get to me. I have a lot of old music I have been collecting over the years and a lot of the data was either not there or for whatever reason is not there. I am looking for a program to do either an audio scan or something to find all my album art work and information that itunes displays. I have used the ITunes find album artwork but some songs done have the album listed. What do I do from here. I am not going through 4k songs to get them all manually.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI cannot get the artwork for some of my shows in iTunes to change.At one point they were all the same (this is my Top Gear collection). I found a different photo I wanted to use and tried to get all seasons to update. However, some episodes will not "take" the artwork and have reverted to the random screen cap that is shows when you convert it. Does anyone know how to force the artwork to change to what I want it to?I've already checked file ownership and permissions, and everything looks fine. Right now I am going to repair permissions and see if I can get it to work. I'll report back, but I'm not very hopeful.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded my first TV show from iTunes for the first time the other day. But, sadly, when I go to play it, all I can get is the audio and absolutely no visual. Nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? I have iTunes version 9 and use Mac OSX, version 10.5.8. I've already tried downloading the latest version of Quicktime to see if that would help but to no avail.

I have deleted all my photos from iPhone 4 but iTunes still shows that I have 981 photos taking up 1.75GB of space. The reason for my deleting the photos, after I moved them to the cloud, was to save space.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got a new 1080p display that I'm also using as a secondary monitor. I want to use it as a primary monitor when I'm using my MBP, which I know how to do.
However, the applications need to be resized and positioned when you connect it. Are there any applications that can remember sizing + positioning of applications based on which display is your primary?
It'd be useful to make the display my "docking" station of sorts.
when I check my mail.app I can see a summary of new mails I have received.However when I open (or preview) them the app displays a blank message, together with a forwarded message from 14 months ago.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just went through the process of buying an app as a gift to be delivered via email. Typed my personal message to the recipient, confirmed the delivery address. Got the review screen. Then when I clocked to purchase the app, I got a security screen asking me to select 3 security questions and an alternate email address. Got immediate emails from Apple noting the changes to my account. But I never got an email confirming the gift purchase. How do I tell if it went through? The item is not listed in my purchases, but maybe that's by design?  Did the security question dialog hijack the purchase process?Â
(Also checked my credit card website, and it doesn't look like there's a pending charge yet. But I'd hate to purchase this app twice.)

View 5 Replies View Related...now I don't have the same functionality with iTunes. Basically, I can't use iTunes at all anymore as the interface for my music and videos. Once the external drive is mounted, I can navigate through it and play individual songs, but I can't use iTunes to do that. All my previous Playlists show up down the left side of iTunes, but there isn't any music in them.
I downloaded 2 songs yesterday, made a Playlist out of them, and because the path in the Advanced tab of the iTunes Preferences is correct, it automatically added the songs to the external hard drive. I synced my iPod and it was completely erased except for the 2 new songs. Is there a way to use iTunes to navigate my music like I used to when I stored the information on the internal hard drive but keep the information on the external drive? I have a Mac running Snow Leopard and the latest version of iTunes.
I need to convert some mp4 music files to mp3 to move to sansa clip mp3 player. Info I read said to click on preferences in iTunes to do this but, iTunes does not show up in my web browser and so there is no menu with preferences.

I have 4 i devices, a first gen ipod touch, an ipad, an iphone 4s and an iphone 3gs. I wanted to be able to use wifi sync on the devices so I upgraded my Mac Mini to 10.6.3. As soon as I upgraded it, itunes is up to date as well, I now cannot get any of my devices to register when I plug them in and the devices will not wifi sync. They say waiting for my Mac Mini to become available.Â
I work in both the Mac and PC world. PC's have their problems without a doubt!Â

I watched them on my Mac, and deleted them off my iPhone to save space, given their size. I also do NOT have the "sync new TV shows" box checked.
Yet, the shows keep re-syncing and loading onto my iPhone every time I sync. I suspect this has something to do with the fact that I purchased them on my iPhone. But how do I make this stop?
