I need to convert some mp4 music files to mp3 to move to sansa clip mp3 player. Info I read said to click on preferences in iTunes to do this but, iTunes does not show up in my web browser and so there is no menu with preferences.
how do i get my aol homepage (or any website for that matter) to show up in the menu of sites that always show up directly under my browser bar where i can click for instant access?Â
I m newer here then sorry if I asked some dumb things, because this is my first mac. When I try to see a page (my wife?s blog in blogspot) in Safari, the pictures aren?t displayed. I tryed with Safari, Firefox and Chrome, but the result is the same. I friend of mine tryed in his Macbook and it?s OK. I tryed in a PC, and it?s OK. I tryed others site and it?s OK, the problem appears only in my mac and only on blogspot sites. After bought the Mac I installed Snow Leopard, IWork, Office and Flash, but these are the same programs that are running on my friend 's mac.
I just downloaded seasons 1-4 of The Office, and they're in .AVI files. How do I import them into my iTunes TV Show Library? MUST I convert them ALL first?
I just went through the process of buying an app as a gift to be delivered via email. Typed my personal message to the recipient, confirmed the delivery address. Got the review screen. Then when I clocked to purchase the app, I got a security screen asking me to select 3 security questions and an alternate email address. Got immediate emails from Apple noting the changes to my account. But I never got an email confirming the gift purchase. How do I tell if it went through? The item is not listed in my purchases, but maybe that's by design?  Did the security question dialog hijack the purchase process?Â
(Also checked my credit card website, and it doesn't look like there's a pending charge yet. But I'd hate to purchase this app twice.)
Ok. iMovie will ONLY save in MPEG4. Got it. Why won't the files open in a browser when trying to upload? (Even if the format is accepted) The files stay dim, as in not able to select. I've exported to YT, Vimeo, iCNN, all that is fine. I've saved the files in differernt areas - other than iTunes. iMovie help is absolutely no help at all.
Just updated my OS to OSX10.9.3 and my Safari browser to 7.0.4 and now I can't run iTunes! Keep getting notice that it needs 64 bit to run and to uncheck the 32 bit box. Problem is, the 32 bit box is not checked. Never had problem with older system. What can I do to be able to play iTunes?
I got a very weird problem. When I connect my computer (Macbook, Mac OS X Leopard) via cable to the router all my applications work with no problem. I can browse the internet, visit the itunes store, receive mail, get updates on my dashboard.
But when I am connected to the internet via wifi (on the same router) I can still browse the internet while all other apps cannot connect to the internet. Itunes says it cannot connect, mail says it cannot retrieve any mail etc.
I have tried on a different router at a friends house. Same thing. Everything works via cable but wirelessly only the browser works and nothing else.
After some Google trawling, I can't seem to find any answers to this question, so here goes nothing:
The 'Artist' bar on the left of the iTunes 9 interface will jump back up to the top of its scrollbar every time you click on an artist in it, and often when I select an artist that requires any scrolling to get to it it immediately jumps to the top of the list and thinks I clicked on one of those artists.
This has basically crippled my music browsing, or at least made it insanely annoying, so a fix would be nice. I've tried trashing all the preferences and rebooting, to no avail.
...now I don't have the same functionality with iTunes. Basically, I can't use iTunes at all anymore as the interface for my music and videos. Once the external drive is mounted, I can navigate through it and play individual songs, but I can't use iTunes to do that. All my previous Playlists show up down the left side of iTunes, but there isn't any music in them.
I downloaded 2 songs yesterday, made a Playlist out of them, and because the path in the Advanced tab of the iTunes Preferences is correct, it automatically added the songs to the external hard drive. I synced my iPod and it was completely erased except for the 2 new songs. Is there a way to use iTunes to navigate my music like I used to when I stored the information on the internal hard drive but keep the information on the external drive? I have a Mac running Snow Leopard and the latest version of iTunes.
I have 4 i devices, a first gen ipod touch, an ipad, an iphone 4s and an iphone 3gs. I wanted to be able to use wifi sync on the devices so I upgraded my Mac Mini to 10.6.3. As soon as I upgraded it, itunes is up to date as well, I now cannot get any of my devices to register when I plug them in and the devices will not wifi sync. They say waiting for my Mac Mini to become available.Â
I work in both the Mac and PC world. PC's have their problems without a doubt!Â
I recently purchased the TV show, Series 5 of Madmen from iTunes. How can I burn them to a DVD to enable me to watch them on my TV via my DVD player. I tried creating a play list as with music and burn to a DVD-R but this was not recognised by my DVD player. Do I need special software?
After uploading a track in itunes, I have sold 8 times (mostly to friends) most of whom have given reviews.but none of the reviews show up.How to get reviews to show?
It won't show up until the second time i put it in -- it will flash up on the desktop briefly, but it looks like it's hanging up when it's searching for track names. I haven't rebooted in a while -- maybe that's it?
I do think this would be a good idea. I'd rather rent a TV episode - watch it once - and then have it go - as opposed to a movie. Do you think there's any way Apple would, and could, ever implement this?
I purchased a couple TV shows on my iPhone, and they synced to my Mac.
I watched them on my Mac, and deleted them off my iPhone to save space, given their size. I also do NOT have the "sync new TV shows" box checked.
Yet, the shows keep re-syncing and loading onto my iPhone every time I sync. I suspect this has something to do with the fact that I purchased them on my iPhone. But how do I make this stop?
I purchased a TV show from Itunes earlier, and while it was downloading it paused and didn't make any progress for a while so I pressed the little 'x' (on previous occasions it took only seconds to download). Now the show will only play up until 3 minutes in, how do I get it to load the whole show?
Found an odd problem with iTunes on one of my Mac's. My TV shows on one mac are dropped in a Season X folder, while on the other Mac they are not. Both have the Season and Episode information filled out identically (same files on both Mac's), yet one creates the Season Folders and one does not. I would prefer that they are just put in a single folder rather than Season subfolders, but I can work with either.Â
Both Mac's are set to allow iTunes keep the media folder organized and to copy the files to the media folder.Â
I'm curious if there's a plist setting that controls the creation of the Season folder, and if this other mac has a legay PLIST seting that is causing this difference?
With our Apple TV device we purchased a season of the Big Bang, why iTunes insist on downloading every new episode to my MacBookAir while all we want to do is watch it with Apple TV directly from iTunes?Â
takes up HUGE amounts of time and space. I've looked everywhere for a way to cancelt eh downloads to my MacBookAir but can not find it. Is there a way to turn this off?
How can I zoom in iTunes text? Everything else on my multiple macs is fine. But iTunes will never enlarge it's tiny text! (Men have size issues, but iTunes is happy with its insignificant size!) Help? Or Hey! Apple! Get with the program! (no pun)I just want that little text to grow! What good is a huge monitor if I have to be 3 inches from it to use it?
TV show is currently downloading but it says I can play it now. When I play it, the picture is all messed up but the audio is there. The screen looks like this as it plays...
