I downloaded my first TV show from iTunes for the first time the other day. But, sadly, when I go to play it, all I can get is the audio and absolutely no visual. Nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? I have iTunes version 9 and use Mac OSX, version 10.5.8. I've already tried downloading the latest version of Quicktime to see if that would help but to no avail.

I'm just wondering why iTunes hasn't downloaded an SD version as well as the HD version, like it always has done previously? I am unable to watch the India Special on my MacBook as iTunes says "This movie requires QuickTime, which is not supported by this version of iTunes."Â

I had downloaded some music from the net and placed it under my home folder, music, iTunes, iTunes Music, Music. Under iTunes Music is all of my music, including the new music I filed there. But when I open the iTunes Program, the new music is not in my iTunes Library there. how I can get my new purchase visible in my iTunes Library in my iTunes Program? All of the other music in the file is visible.

One of my G4's I am able to connect to a TV with a VGA cable. But my other G4 doesn't use the same cable. The port instead has 3 rows of holes (for pins) and then beside that, a plus sign with a hole in each quarter. What kind of cable is needed to connect this G4 to a TV? It's an HDTV. It's a 1Ghz PowerBook G4 15" with OS 10.4.11. It doesn't have Bluetooth.

The volume controls aren't working well. I'm using a M-Audio Firewire Audiophile external sound device. There seems to be a headphone level control on the left which sort of works (its continuous so you never know where you are in its range) and a "Level Controller" on the right which doesn't do anything to the sound yet it controls the sound bar in Sys Prefs/Sound. I downloaded the 10.4.11 driver from M-Audio.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have some audio books that i have on CD which I ripped and they show up under the "music" section on the sidebar in iTunes 10.5.3 (3) even though I set the genre to "Audio book" (in "get info") How can I get it to appear under the "books" section like audio books purchased on the iTunes store? It's really annoying to be playing my music library shuffled and then have to skip through audio book chapters. I realize that I could make a playlist with only music, but this seems pretty counterintuitive as I'd have to update it every time I added a new song.

When I first used the Mail application, it didn't show any kind of visual cue of accessing the server when trying to get my email. Then I started getting a spiraling circular ring, but now all of a sudden it's gone again. Is there a bug in Mail with Mac OS X 10.6.4?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I just installed PS CS4 as downloaded from Adobe's website. When I resize a window, the gray area in the background becomes totally corrupt. Doesn't affect the document itself but it's distracting. I tried turning off OpenGL drawing in the Preferences but that didn't help. I've not seen any visual corruption anywhere else in OS X but wonder if it's a problem with the ATI 3870 at all. Never saw anything like this with CS2 or CS3. It is OpenGL drawing. It wasn't obvious I had to restart Photoshop for it to take effect.

That worked...I think (m4v file format) But I cannot figure out how to get the movie in to iTunes, so that I can put the movies on my iPhone or iPad. I tried dragging the file in to the movie section, and also going to the menu and opening "add file" (or something like that). Nothing happens! When I ripped the movie, I selected "iPhone Ipod touch". I also should mention that when I double click on the file, and try to watch the movie on my computer I am unable to watch it on any program. For example it says that it is a file type that QuickTime does not recognize. I am completely new to this and simply don't know what im doing!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded music from solarseek, the files are "completly downloaded" never the less the files stay in the folder "uncomplete", the info details says "itunes Document" for each file, example of a files name , "02 brothers on the slide.mp3 - Hagafarta.solarseek".
I want them to play or to open, but they dont work on itunes, i downloaded manny files (songs) from different users on solarseek, so its not a problem of corrupted files.
In order to select which podcasts should be synced to the iPhone/iPod, one has to select the desired podcast subscription from the Devices/Podcast/Sync_Podcasts list. However, the podcast list in the Devices/Podcast/ page now only displays podcast subscriptions if it has episodes already downloaded. One cannot include podcast subscriptions if that podcast subscription currently has no downloaded episodes. This is annoying.
Worst still, previously selected podcast subscriptions that have no more episodes will no longer be selected anymore even if it downloads episodes later. Therefore, one has to keep going back to the list and selecting the podcast subscription over and over again.

I have imported photos from my digital camera to my iPhoto and when I try to view them, I just see a gray box with an exclamation point? How can I fix this so my photos will show up? It has always worked correctly in the past.

I do think this would be a good idea. I'd rather rent a TV episode - watch it once - and then have it go - as opposed to a movie. Do you think there's any way Apple would, and could, ever implement this?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI cannot get the artwork for some of my shows in iTunes to change.At one point they were all the same (this is my Top Gear collection). I found a different photo I wanted to use and tried to get all seasons to update. However, some episodes will not "take" the artwork and have reverted to the random screen cap that is shows when you convert it. Does anyone know how to force the artwork to change to what I want it to?I've already checked file ownership and permissions, and everything looks fine. Right now I am going to repair permissions and see if I can get it to work. I'll report back, but I'm not very hopeful.
