Aug 17, 2010When my 2010 macbook pro changes graphics card it removes my background and sets it as a blue screen. Everything else still works fine and if i go back and set the desktop background again it sets it until next time the card changes!

Aug 31, 2010I know how to change the look of the picture in "ISIGHT", but how can I put color back in certain parts of the picture. A friend helped me with a picture, and I liked it, I would like to add more color to it? Is there a pre-installed app already on any MB or MBP that is almost 2 years old. (16 months old according to coconut battery.) I'm going to keep trying on my own. I might already know, I've never tried to use photo booth on the picture yet. So if I am wrong, let me know what I need to use.

I uninstalled that theme. No i'm not having my older theme or default theme for mavericks. How can i have that.
I read in the instructions in Theme the way to uninstall. There it was written to restore finder, preferencePans, Safari etc. But I didn't take any backup.
How do I get preferencePans and finder etc.. ?
Can I reinstall Mac OSx - Mavericks?. Is there any option to just instal or over write and still I could get all of my files save?

Apr 18, 2009new Dell S2209W monitor to hook up to the Macbook as an external display and so far have been pretty disappointed. Sadly, it's not the monitor I'm disappointed in. First of all, a few comparison shots between the Macbook connected to S2009W and a PC connected to the S2009W:Macbook connected to Dell S2209W:PC Laptop connected to Dell S2209WSo what would you even call that effect? The colors in the shadows looked very dithered or pixelated on the Macbook, yet on the PC laptop the image looks great. Both laptops (the Macbook and PC) are running at the same, native resolution of 1920 x 1080. The wallpapers are scaled the same way on both.

I did a restart to start up on this hd and found the Home Folder in users titled "PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP". How can I rename it back to what it was originally so I can do the updates on it ? Had this prob. a year or so ago and can't remember how I corrected it.

Feb 25, 2009I recently got a new iMac, its been fine, but just today I have opened Numbers and some crazy colours, like a graphics problem have flickered up onto the screen but go away pretty quick, after I have clicked on a few things and stuff.
They tend to be red, yellow and green colours from what i have seen. It has only happened since I opened Numbers, and its all up to date. (Version 1.0.3.) It also flickered up a little on iTunes while Numbers was open, where its has the time bar and song name and stuff.

Sep 23, 2010I've been having trouble calibrating my display on my 2010 Macbook Pro with Spyder3Pro properly. The calibrated profile is much warmer unless looked perfectly straight on, which is impossible, and when the screen is tilted down it becomes a deep yellow. I've tried different ambient lighting sources and screen brightness however none of the profiles look good. Has anyone been able to properly calibrate their 2010 Macbook Pro's screen with a Spyder3Pro?

May 14, 2010i finally got my High Res Glossy MBP after 4 weeks of waiting...Everything works fine...and NO yellow tint issue...The only problem is 1 small dead pixel towards the bottom right of the screen...Will apple do an exchange on CTO machines with only 1 dead pixel?Is it even worth doing the exchange? After reading these forums i see that a lot of other users have been complaining about all types of problems...Yellow tint, wifi problems, over heating...etcshould I consider myself lucky? And just be happy that its only 1 small pixel?

Sep 8, 2009I'm an idiot, pleased to meet you.I had 2 external drives connected to my Macbook Pro, both had time machine back ups on...I meant to delete one of these but deleted the wrong one, and dragged it into Trash. On realising my mistake I tried to drag it back out of Trash, as you would normally but after "preparing to copy" for four hours it told me the drive was full...It's a 500gb drive, and the Time Machine back up is the only thing on it, so presumably it's just trying to copy itself when the back up is still present on the drive, albeit in the Trash.
