Jun 7, 2008i accidently deleted all of my fonts on my iMac and i really don't know what to do now...how can i atleast get the default leopard ones back?

May 10, 2010after update to 10.6.3. my fonts are messed up. So I manually copy some fonts like Arial... but still they are not showing properly in web sites. Is there any way to back all font's to default?

Nov 4, 2010I was downloading some fonts from [URL] because I was going to use them in some software. Now it told me to just double click the file and hit "install" I did that and then this window came up and I hit the little + sign to add them. And then it started copying all my fonts I think? I stopped it and then it sowed a bunch of them that were not there? So I basically hit the install button it came up with coulombs in one window. The left coulomb had a list of my name my computer and all that. The middle coulomb said the three fonts I wanted to install.
So in the bottom on the middle coulomb there was a little plus sign + I hit it and it looked like it started copying all my fonts. So now I am stuck. Also once I had canceled the install/copy/who knows what. There was a message under I believe 4-6 fonts that were all in the middle coulomb that said some warning! About the font having multiple or something. Also is said I could use a command to resolve this or something? I don't want to damage my computers software!

Sep 8, 2009I'm an idiot, pleased to meet you.I had 2 external drives connected to my Macbook Pro, both had time machine back ups on...I meant to delete one of these but deleted the wrong one, and dragged it into Trash. On realising my mistake I tried to drag it back out of Trash, as you would normally but after "preparing to copy" for four hours it told me the drive was full...It's a 500gb drive, and the Time Machine back up is the only thing on it, so presumably it's just trying to copy itself when the back up is still present on the drive, albeit in the Trash.

Sep 4, 2009Backed up my macbook air using time machine to my time capsule. Then went into iphoto and backed up pictures just to make sure. (They are all the pictures of my 6 and 2 year old since birth, very important to me). Opened time machine to make sure that my pictures had backed up, they were there and I figure everything is good.
I install Snow Leopard and after rebooting all pictures are gone. My iphoto library is gone. I went from 49.68 gig of used storage space on my hard drive pre-Snow Leopard to 17.92 gig of used storage space on my hard drive after installing Snow Leopard. I get kind of hacked off but figure there is no big deal since I know that my photos are in my Time Capsule. I go into time machine and there are 0 jpegs, 0 iphoto libraries and no pictures of any kind other than icons.
I freak the heck out and just plain don't understand. I call Apple 2 hours on the phone yesterday and 2.5 hours on the phone today and I am told that it is a problem being passed onto the engineering department and that they will get back to me but most likely the photos are gone and they are sorry. 3500 photos of my children's lives eaten by the dang Snow Leopard.
This is unacceptable, I did everything right in this instance, backing up my things, even spent the extra money to buy the time capsule, from apple, to make sure my backups went flawlessly. Got an appointment with the Genius Bar at the local retail store for Sunday but I was told today that they will more than likely not be able to help and will just add to the notes on my "Case" with apple.

Mar 20, 2012I am an educator and my school system "upgraded" their Exchange Server and subsequently put Outlook on my computer. I configured Mail to pop over from Outlook, but now, I can't delete an email sent to my school email account without opening up Outlook and deleting it....it just keeps reappearing in my inbox. The problem is not the same on my iPhone or iPad, just on my MacBook Pro. So, I go for several days while the emails pile up, then open up Outlook and delete them one by one when I can't stand it anymore. Also, when Outlook is open, my computer runs at about 1/2 speed...everything slows and bogs down. Can I just delete Outlook from my computer?

Sep 12, 2007I created a site with iweb 08. I did it from scratch, because when I tried to load the site that was created from 06, it totally messed up everything. I have a couple custom fonts that I used, and it looks great in iweb, but when I view the published website on another computer, the fonts are completely different, like they reverted to default. I finally got everything to work ok with 08, and now I have a font problem. If it makes a difference, I'm not using a .mac account.

May 9, 2009A few months ago I installed some Thai fonts on my mac book. I downloaded them from this site, and dragged them into Font Book. Unfortunately, one of the fonts I added replaced the default Thai font (used to be Ayuthaya) for MS Office and the Yahoo email compose letter field. Furthermore, Ayuthaya no longer appears on the drop down for MS Office, even though it's in Font Book.

OS X Mavericks :: How To Get Default Theme Back
Sep 6, 2014I installed one of available themes from deviantart. It was looking good on screenshots. But when I installed that, It was messed up my Mavericks Theme.
I uninstalled that theme. No i'm not having my older theme or default theme for mavericks. How can i have that.
I read in the instructions in Theme the way to uninstall. There it was written to restore finder, preferencePans, Safari etc. But I didn't take any backup.
