what is the best apple program for online banking + downloading to computer.I am currently using quicken but when I purchase a macbook air I am considering upgrading to something better if there is such a program.

When ordering online I see it costs $100 to add that service. If I order online and pick up in store can i get them to transfer the data for free? Also can i buy it from the store if i want to update the harddrive option on the Macbook Pro?

I have a 15-inch MacBook Pro, the new unibody ones, and I installed Windows XP, using BootCamp.
I made it a 29 or so GB partition, so it used the FAT32 formatting.
The program I tried to install is the eyeQ speed reading program, and the laptop exceeds every single one of the recommended requirements.
The problem comes when I am attempting to install the program, I keep getting an error message in which it says "This program cannot run on a computer with less than 64 megabytes of ram."
Last time I checked my laptop has 4 GB of ram, and it says the same thing when I checked it while running Windows XP.
My only guess, which I made while typing this, was that I should have formatted the Windows partition using NTSF.
I want to copy an imovie on one apple computer and put it on another apple computer. Can I use a flash drive to do this?

I used to have a program that could convert lots of things (audio, files etc), after a restore I have lost this program, which I didn't use very often so I can't remember its name!
All I know was that the icon had a picture of a camel (?!)
When i try to download a screensaver the computer tells me i need to choose an application to run the screensaver. Can anyone explain to me what i'm doing wrong. And i also need help downloading Adobe. It wont allow me to install the program.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded this after the instructor mentioned wanting us to use Onenote in class because we'd be able to take the notes when we leave. I asked if it was mac compatible and got the uhhh....
Anyway I searched for a mac compatible freeware equivalent (I hardly want to buy Microsoft office anyway.) This isn't perfect but was doing okay. Until it crashed. All the notes are there but the notebooks were gone. Yet when I typed in the notebook names, some of the notes just popped back into place.
Does anyone know if this is a regular Tomboy bug or if there is a better freeware program? I don't want one only on the internet because my connection at school is unreliable. The main site for this is 'over my head' in technical detail at the moment.

I was just wondering if slow internet happens from a slow computer as well as bad connection. I have no idea what's going on with both my Safari and Chrome browsers because I have cable internet and its not slow by any means but my browsers keep crashing (had to force quit out of safari 6 times in 2 minutes) or i see the dreaded beachball for more than five minutes. I don't know what's going on.

I can get into my face page but I cannot open the e-checking portion of the bank's e-bank page. The bank told me that they have had many problems with Safari since the update. I opened up FireFox and everything works OK. Is the general concensus, from what I have read, the problem is JAVA? I have resetted and thrown away the cookies persuant to by bank.

So: Randomly when I'm not using the computer (never when I use it) for a long time, it quits the programs and logs out. The Console says this about the time interval:

View 3 Replies View RelatedI seem to have the same problem that a lot of MacBook users have had with their chargers, but I have an added glitch- I'm in a foreign country and they said I need to get a case number from Apple before they can order one with the same style plug as mine (UK- I'm in Copenhagen right now). Trouble is I seem to be a bit retarded, I can't find a nice "email us to report a problem" button on their web page so if anyone can tell me their customer support email address that would be great. Although I'm not sure if I need the Danish or UK branch.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently downloaded a firmware update from Apple both as a stand-alone software and using software update but everytime I restart, my computer makes one loud beeping sound and tries to boot three or four times unsuccessfully and maybe on the fifth or fourth, it finally comes on. When I go through software update after this, it still shows the same firmware and same version of it as an update I haven't downloaded. And another thing it freezes a lot since I downloaded this firmware update. This is how it shows on software update; Macbook Pro EFI Firmware Update version 2.7 size: 4.1 MB.

I can add items to my cart (doesn't matter what it is: i've tried various items). But once I go to check out it asks me to login and when I do I get taken to a page that says "An error has occurred during your session. Please return to the Store Menu to continue shopping." No matter how many times I try to checkout, I'll get the same error.However, if I login to the Apple store from my Macbook Air running 10.5.8 (which recognizes me as the same account as the same items will show up in the cart) I can checkout fine with no problems.

I like to keep all of my gmail messages because it's a useful history to search if I ever need to look up an old thread. However, the obvious problem is a hacker who gets in also has all that knowledge. What I'd like to be able to do is store my full Gmail account with all messages locally in Apple mail where I can backup as often as I want, then I'd like to purge my online Gmail messages. The idea is if someone hacked my Gmail account, they'd see very little messages but I would still have all e-mail copies saved on my machine.

The account is fully functional, because it's still working fine on iPhone, iPad and through Outlook 2011. It's like once apple mail decides an account is offline, that's it.
