OS X :: IMac Running 10.6.3 - Can't Check Out On The Apple Online Store
Apr 2, 2010Not sure where to post this as it really applies to the Apple Online Store itself. On my iMac running 10.6.3 I can't check out on the Apple online store. I can add items to my cart (doesn't matter what it is: i've tried various items). But once I go to check out it asks me to login and when I do I get taken to a page that says "An error has occurred during your session. Please return to the Store Menu to continue shopping." No matter how many times I try to checkout, I'll get the same error.However, if I login to the Apple store from my Macbook Air running 10.5.8 (which recognizes me as the same account as the same items will show up in the cart) I can checkout fine with no problems.

Oct 26, 2010I recently lost one of my Gmail accounts to a hacker and it was an enlightening experience. I like to keep all of my gmail messages because it's a useful history to search if I ever need to look up an old thread. However, the obvious problem is a hacker who gets in also has all that knowledge. What I'd like to be able to do is store my full Gmail account with all messages locally in Apple mail where I can backup as often as I want, then I'd like to purge my online Gmail messages. The idea is if someone hacked my Gmail account, they'd see very little messages but I would still have all e-mail copies saved on my machine.

May 21, 2009I seem to have the same problem that a lot of MacBook users have had with their chargers, but I have an added glitch- I'm in a foreign country and they said I need to get a case number from Apple before they can order one with the same style plug as mine (UK- I'm in Copenhagen right now). Trouble is I seem to be a bit retarded, I can't find a nice "email us to report a problem" button on their web page so if anyone can tell me their customer support email address that would be great. Although I'm not sure if I need the Danish or UK branch.

Click Change Store to view this article". If I click to change the Store from the Spanish to the American store, I have to fill the data but my ID apple is not working on the "foreign" store. (which brings my balance to $16.48) My problem is whenever I try to buy this product I'm sent to the billing page. I don't have a credit card so I select "none" and try to purchase iMovie again. I am interested in selling my Oct. 2005 Revision PowerBook G4 (1.67 ghZ 15") so that I can upgrade to a MacBook Pro before I leave for college. The easiest and most cost efficent way to do this would be through selling on eBay and using PayPal to accept payment. However, sites such as PayPalWarning.com have really given me the willies about doing it this way. I really am in no mood to have my reputation tarnished and my account left in significant debt while some fraudster buyer has my PowerBook and my money. Does anyone have any advice? Are these rare instances or are these common stories, in your experience? Is there a better way to sell on eBay, or the computer in general? I have a price in mind for what I want for it, and thus eBay or an equivilent seems the best way to go, rather than a resale shop.

Unfortunately, we don't need the customs label or the insurance page, so 2 out of 3 pages are a waste of ink and time and unfortunately again, these 2 unecessary pages have a habit of printing out first..Until I installed Snow Leopard last year. And magically the print order reversed and I was able to get my label off and cancel the rest.I got a new printer this week, and it's printing back in the old order Totally miffed.
