When i try to download a screensaver the computer tells me i need to choose an application to run the screensaver. Can anyone explain to me what i'm doing wrong. And i also need help downloading Adobe. It wont allow me to install the program.

I'm running on a MacBook Pro OS X 10.4.11. I can't seem to run any webvideos anymore.I'm trying to download Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.45.2,but I just noticed that I can't download any updates.ould it be my settings or the netwark I'm using? View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Mac powerbook G4 15" powered by PCG4 (1.1). The operating system is OS X 10.3.9. The installed Acrobat reader is the 5.0 version which is outdated. Every time I try to download the appropriate version as stated by Adobe off of their website, it won't allow me to do it. The cursor points at the download, but clicking on it does nothing.

I sent a request the other day for help regarding my downloading Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 and losing the ability to play my games( they were bookmarked from the web) because of missing plug- ins. I mentioned that I know very little about this computer. I did get a reply saying that he needed more information about my computer which I sent and I have not heard anything back. View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded this after the instructor mentioned wanting us to use Onenote in class because we'd be able to take the notes when we leave. I asked if it was mac compatible and got the uhhh....
Anyway I searched for a mac compatible freeware equivalent (I hardly want to buy Microsoft office anyway.) This isn't perfect but was doing okay. Until it crashed. All the notes are there but the notebooks were gone. Yet when I typed in the notebook names, some of the notes just popped back into place.
Does anyone know if this is a regular Tomboy bug or if there is a better freeware program? I don't want one only on the internet because my connection at school is unreliable. The main site for this is 'over my head' in technical detail at the moment.
I have downloaded some Iso files which are intended to be programmes, I can burn them to a CD with no problem using disc utility.However, they do not play as intended, When clicking on the cd icon mounted on the desktop, it just displays the contents of the CD and does not launch the program.

I have tried to install the adobe flash player they recommend for Lion and it will not install. I then read a post from Klaus 1 who gave the links and said to install adobe shockwave which I did and it worked for about 1 hour then it disappeared.

I recently recieved the Flash Player Ugrade notice on my MacBook Pro rinning Lion and I accepted it and began the upgrade. Right in the middle of the upgrade, my nac crashed and I had to power down reboot. From that point on, the upgrade will not install and only gives a "installed failed". I went to the Adobe site and used the uninstall tool for flash, still gives error on install of any version of flash.

A few weeks ago, I uninstalled Adobe flash player because I thought it was causing some problems. I'm trying to install it again, but as soon as it starts the installation process, it gets pauses at "Retrieving Install" and hangs at zero. After five minutes or so, it says "Error has been encountered. Close this window and try downloading again.
I've tried multiple times.
