Intel Mac :: Upload Files To Be Shared On Personal Webpage?

I found my personal web page by going through utilities, but not sure how to get anything on it. I have created a file (website file in Lightroom 4) that I want to share via internet. How do I get it on my personal web site on my Mac and how do I share that file with other computer users. No one has answered the question yet at support. I am told I have to purchase a web hosting service but isn't there a way to share large files via internet with the Imac software installed on my computer? I don't want to purchase a domain!

I am scanning court documents to be uploaded to an online claim filing system. I am scanning as an image as this is the only way I can get it to save on my macbook. I'm saving the file as a PDF, but when I try to upload the image I get an error that says this is not a PDF file.

Two months ago I switched web hosting providers/services from a Linux server to a UNIX server. For the most part the functionality is fine but the ability to upload files using any FTP client is near impossible. We've tried Fetch (4.x and 5.x) Filezilla, Cyberduck, Dreamweaver, and an old copy of GoLive but it takes 6 minutes or more to upload a 230byte file!. The upload is relatively fast but it hangs up on the exiting handshake, or drops the connection and has to reconnect.
We spoke with Fetch and tested both copies on their UNIX server---no problem. We've tried our other clients on other UNIX, Windows, and Linux servers---no problem. We've had the web host and our service provider look at DNS blocks, etc. and all seems to be fine. Pings and trace routes seem fine. The web host company indicated that they believed that it was an issue with their server but eventually threw up their hands and said that they couldn't figure it out (not Mac friendly I suspect). My questions is two fold:
1) Can anyone give me an idea what IS the problem?
2) Can anyone recommend a good 'Mac-friendly' web hosting service that doesn't have issues with Mac's, will allow installation of a variety of CMS, eCommerce solutions, and of course seamless FTP access with variety of clients.

I am trying to upload music files to an sd card in the built-in card reader on my mac mini and when I insert it it tells me that it is read only. I cannot add files to the card. Is there any way to make sd cards writable from the built-in reader?

When I select to upload a document into a form in any of the browsers, I get the "File Upload" window, but then the spinning wheel just spins and never loads my files on the system to select to upload.
I am running the latest software updates... OS X 10.7.4, Safari 5.1.7, Chrome 19.0.1084.42, Firefox 12.0.

Just got a MacBook Pro. It hasn't been able to upload pics, attachments to any website. Facebook, Gmail, Google+, ect. It was like this out of the box. I have tried Mountain Lion, Mavericks & Yosemite Beta 2 and then Internet Recovery back to Mountain Lion & currently on Mavericks. Same on all OS versions. Also the same on Chrome, Firefox & Opera. Tried 2 different routers..same results. No other device on my network has this issue. In a Facebook message it will send stickers but not photos or files. The photo & attachment progress bars on Facebook, Gmail, ect get stuck at about 50% after hitting send and then fail. The firewall is off. Downloads are perfect.

I have photostream turned on- some pictures I loaded into my imac y'day are on my ipad, and my iphone, but when I went to icloud.com on my pc at work just now, all I have is this:- I'm not going mad am I? photostream should be available on icloud? Basically, my iMac can't load [URL] on Firefox, Chrome and safari.
It first happened when I use the firefox address bar to google something. The web page didn't load and said "The connection was reset: The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.", Then I try it on Chrome to go to google.com. The web page didn't load and said "No Data received: Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data." Then I try it on Safari. The web page didn't load and said
"Safari cant open the page [URL] because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again."

When I try to print any document from a web page, i get an empty page, only the header line at the top of the page. Y work with Safari (last version) but the same I have with Chrome. From other sources there is no problem. I have two HP printers, one laser BW and a color HP Deskjet D1663.
My computer is a MacBook Pro 7.1 with Lion 10.7.4

I have shared me external hard drive in the System Preferences, but when I try to copy something from my windows pc on it I can't copy. I can read all the files but just can't put stuff on it. It says I don't have the rights to that. I have found that when I try to let me external be read & write by everyone in the system preferences on my mac I can not change it.

I have two users on my mac and am having some issues with sharing files. I created a shared folder and gave the other user read/write permissions. When I log in as that user, the folder can be accessed, but some of the files in that folder cannot be accessed. These are all photos, and for the most part I'm dropping them into the shared folder from iPhoto.
I tried it again by using the Public folder with the same result. However, there isn't consistency with the actual files that don't have permission. In other words, the shared folder I created may have a file that does not have permission, but that same file does have permission when I dropped it in the Public folder. So it is totally random as to which files in the shared folder don't have permission to be accessed.
I also tried to simply drag the files to the other user. Same result.

I created my website using iWeb, and use iWeb SEO Tool (3rd party software) to upload onto the internet so that my website can be found on the net. But since upgrading to Lion OSX I can't open my iWeb file in iWeb SEO - my Library file has been moved and my iWeb file has disappeared!! I have since found the iWeb file through Finder (by using Go to ~/Library/) but still cannot find it using iWeb SEO so can't upload changes to my website.

I have a new MBP (running Lion) and an older MacBook (running Leopard). I'd like both to run Time Machine to a shared external hard drive which I think I've worked out. My question is whether or not TM will store duplicate versions of the same files (particularly photos, videos, etc.) on the external hard drive, thus using up the EHD capacity more quickly, or will one file be saved and just recognized as being on both computers by TM.

I have a Samsung external drive from which I can play and view these small discs that are not compatable with iMac. I need to upload from these discs to a New Project or a New Event in iMovie. I cannot figure a way to upload for editing and produce a finished movie. My iMac forced me to get a Canon HF-R100 camcorder with an SD card for the iMac SD slot.

My goal is to export HD quality files to upload to my website that accepts flv, f4v, and mp4 formats. When I try exporting using Compressor to the mp4 format, the sound quality is there, but the video plays at half speed and has vertical lines in it. I've tried it several times, and have even first exported a .mov file from FCP, then used Compressor only to have the same results.
