ITunes :: Imported CD Not Shown In Library?
May 9, 2012Today I've imported some CD's in iTunes. The importing process worked fine, but.... I cannot see the tracks in my music library! I have a smart playlist where I can see the most recent imported music and when I browse that playlist I see the tracks that are not shown in the music library! When i get info on one of these tracks all the details are correct (it's saved in my "iTunes library" folder etc.)

Applications :: ITunes Library Missing - Empty Folders Shown
Oct 23, 2010On itunes, I have my account/library and my wife has hers. For some reason her library disappeared. Her folder is still in the music folder along with mine, but her music, apps will not show up in itunes and her account name also is gone when opening itunes with option c I can see both accounts and when I choose hers and itunes opens everything is blank if that makes sense.
She is afraid to do a sync because she is afraid she'll loose the apps, music and other items from her itouch. I don't want to mess with it because I'm nervous about messing my library up as well trying to restore hers. Is there anything I can do to get her library to load in itunes and not distrurb mine and resync her itouch and my iphone? I didn't see any answers to this specific 2nd account issue and I hope the description of the issue is clear.

I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4 - everything I have bought on iTunes has synced with my Mac and mobile devices. All my music, pictures TV shows and books have also synced with mobile devices and MacBook but for some reason the films I have purchased I need to buy again!!

Jun 4, 2014I just bought a new mac book air and i have a lot of music that Itunes cannot find the album art for. On my windows PC i was able to just copy and paste the art into the "get info" tab and the art will show in itunes when the song plays. When i find the art on my Mac i can copy and paste, however the art does not save to itunes.
Also, whenever i changed the artist or album artist information, the change does not save either.

Dec 1, 2014iTunes won't change more than one file's information at once (e.g. changing the componist at 10 Songs), even if i mark them together and iTunes tells me if i want to change them at all. It doesn't change a thing at all. If i change them one after all it works. I have about 25.000 Songs which i want to edit.

ITunes :: Can't Log Into Account Information Or Purchase Content
Mar 19, 2012I'm on my 14th email to iTunes support and after 14 days of not being able to log into my iTunes account, I'm getting a bit desperate. Every time I log in, I'm redirected to the login screen that asks for my account name and password. I've reset my password 4x and Apple has done it twice. Still no change. I'm not getting any response that my password is wrong and I'm allowed to fill in my credentials as many times as I want. It's just redirecting me to the login screen and asking me again. If I log out and back in, it tells me after login that I need to press "ok" to verify my account information, after which it redirects me to... the login screen.

Mar 21, 2012I just got done upadting all the software for the mac mini and then I plugged in my ipad so it could get the update 5.1 or whatever it is. However I tunes is saying it will erase all the apps/music/pictures etc that are on there. There isnt anything yet on the mac mini as its still on my backup hard drive. How can I update my ipad without losing everything and having to reload it onto the ipad?

I fill out all of the billing address, and don't have an iTunes gift card, so I leave that out. What is left? A Credit Card field! I am only 14 years old! I don't have a Credit Card! Is there any way to get past this? I have noticed that the same thing happens in the Mac App Store. All I want to do is get the Album Artwork and get a few free apps for my iPod Touch as well as my MacBook.

Jun 28, 2012I open iTunes and first thing it does (every time!) is "Determining Gapless Playback Information" for a small (400 tracks, approx) subset of my 4,000 tunes library. I've checked and re-checked my tunes. I have NO tracks set to "Part of a gapless album".this process repeats itself sometimes when I'm importing new tunes, even after the app has been launched for awhile. iTunes starts scanning the same 400 (approx) files AGAIN, as I add new music. It takes 30-60 seconds to run through this process. Annoying!

Mar 29, 2008I reinstalled OSX (leopard) completely fresh, I have multiple Time Machine backups, and I do not want to restore my entire machine, I just want to pull out the files needed for iTunes to detect my iPhone(backups, and settings so the machine knows it can be connected to this machine) as being connected to the correct machine and not sync'd to another machine. I know how to browse the time machine backups I just need to know what files contain the preferences/logs/plist or whatever settings files that are needed to be replaced on my newly installed system.
