For some Internet radio streams, iTunes 9 on my old PowerBook shows artist and song title in the small window at the top; iTunes 10.6.2 does not show this information for the exact same stream. How can I get the information to show?

Today I've imported some CD's in iTunes. The importing process worked fine, but.... I cannot see the tracks in my music library! I have a smart playlist where I can see the most recent imported music and when I browse that playlist I see the tracks that are not shown in the music library! When i get info on one of these tracks all the details are correct (it's saved in my "iTunes library" folder etc.) Â

On itunes, I have my account/library and my wife has hers. For some reason her library disappeared. Her folder is still in the music folder along with mine, but her music, apps will not show up in itunes and her account name also is gone when opening itunes with option c I can see both accounts and when I choose hers and itunes opens everything is blank if that makes sense.
She is afraid to do a sync because she is afraid she'll loose the apps, music and other items from her itouch. I don't want to mess with it because I'm nervous about messing my library up as well trying to restore hers. Is there anything I can do to get her library to load in itunes and not distrurb mine and resync her itouch and my iphone? I didn't see any answers to this specific 2nd account issue and I hope the description of the issue is clear.

I just bought a new mac book air and i have a lot of music that Itunes cannot find the album art for. On my windows PC i was able to just copy and paste the art into the "get info" tab and the art will show in itunes when the song plays. When i find the art on my Mac i can copy and paste, however the art does not save to itunes. Â
Also, whenever i changed the artist or album artist information, the change does not save either.

Since the upgrade to 10.6.3 I have been unable to stream from iTunes to my HiFi.
The HiFi sees my plalists, artists, albums, tracks etc. but will not play the stream. I use Eyeconnect as my uPnP streamer, this has been working with no problems since before Christmas until the iTunes upgrade.

I saw some info on the net about saving the stream in Quicktime as a .mov and then dragging the file to the iTunes library, but trying to save the stream in Quicktime just produces a 'Saving' progress bar which progresses at a glacial pace - I think it would never actually finish. Another method mentioned using Flip4Mac but it may be referring to an earlier version as the Preferences panel is different to that mentioned in the instructions (which are a few years old).
So, are there any other ways around this? I'd like to be able to drag the streams into my 'various Radio stations' folder so I can treat it like an mp3 stream.
I use my iMac as my TV, entertainment center, etc at home and I stream audio from there to an Airport Express hooked up to my stereo. Using Airplay in iTunes and third party apps like Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil this works for just about anything: my music library, live TV through EyeTV and non DRM movies...but I like to download rental movies from iTunes and for some reason I can't stream audio from iTunes movies. I understand that this is a documented limitation of iTunes and Airplay, and there can be some issues with audio and video getting out of sync due to the buffering, but if Airfoil can do it, why not iTunes? The Airfoil video player is pretty basic, but it compensates for the buffering delay without any problems, and I can even use VLC to manually add a delay into the video track.

iTunes won't change more than one file's information at once (e.g. changing the componist at 10 Songs), even if i mark them together and iTunes tells me if i want to change them at all. It doesn't change a thing at all. If i change them one after all it works. I have about 25.000 Songs which i want to edit.

Whenever iTunes starts to automatically download podcasts that I subscribe to the streaming stops or plays with lots of sound drop-outs. It is incredibly annoying!
Sometimes I can't even surf the internet without getting sound drop-outs? What can I do to improve this?
I always keep my Macs clean so I don't have tons of third party plugins installed - for the very same reason

Can Airport stream itunes and extend my wireless network at the same time?
I have an Airport in my 3rd floor bedroom that I use to feed iTunes to a receiver. When using my iPad (and iPhone) upstairs they are too slow since my wireless router is on the 1st floor. I have an Ethernet connection in my bedroom and could plug the Airport into it. If I hard wire the Airport can I still stream iTunes to my receiver and have it extend my wireless network at the same time?
Some songs on my iPhone 5S are showing up in iTunes (when I view the iPhone in iTunes) as a song and a s a stream.Pretty sure these were all downloaded from iTunes using my iPhone.I unchecked Sync music, sync’d then rechecked Sync music but, alas, the songs stay. I'm on my 14th email to iTunes support and after 14 days of not being able to log into my iTunes account, I'm getting a bit desperate. Every time I log in, I'm redirected to the login screen that asks for my account name and password. I've reset my password 4x and Apple has done it twice. Still no change. I'm not getting any response that my password is wrong and I'm allowed to fill in my credentials as many times as I want. It's just redirecting me to the login screen and asking me again. If I log out and back in, it tells me after login that I need to press "ok" to verify my account information, after which it redirects me to... the login screen.Â

I just got done upadting all the software for the mac mini and then I plugged in my ipad so it could get the update 5.1 or whatever it is. However I tunes is saying it will erase all the apps/music/pictures etc that are on there. There isnt anything yet on the mac mini as its still on my backup hard drive. I fill out all of the billing address, and don't have an iTunes gift card, so I leave that out. What is left? A Credit Card field! I am only 14 years old! I don't have a Credit Card! I open iTunes and first thing it does (every time!) is "Determining Gapless Playback Information" for a small (400 tracks, approx) subset of my 4,000 tunes library. I've checked and re-checked my tunes. I have NO tracks set to "Part of a gapless album".this process repeats itself sometimes when I'm importing new tunes, even after the app has been launched for awhile. iTunes starts scanning the same 400 (approx) files AGAIN, as I add new music. It takes 30-60 seconds to run through this process. Annoying!Â
