When I see some albums in the the iTunes Store I want to check whether I have some of the songs already. The Search function in the Store only refers to the store and not to my Library. So how can I open a second window in iTunes (one with the Store and one with my Library) to make it easier to compare?

The mini mac is full and I want to be able to use the 2 tb drive as storage and time machine. How do I get the content onto the external drive and access it it and hoe does new content get downloaded and stored to the drive not the mac? View 1 Replies View RelatedTwo songs purchased from iTunes store today. Download looked OK, new purchases do show in Store>Purchased list. I added ratings, and songs went to smart playlist for top rated songs. BUT songs do not appear in Library>Music where all songs are. Search indicates they do not exist. It is from this library I drag to other lists. But without them there I am stumped. Never seen this before.

I can't open iTunes Store. It keeps on saying "One Moment Please. Connecting to the iTunes Store. Loading ... " but nothing loads even after hours of waiting. I can't even login to my iTunes account. View 1 Replies View RelatedThis morning I opened iTunes and all I got was a little sound box that let me play a preselected piece from my library, but I can no longer see my library. All my choices under the file drop down menu are grayed out. "Library" is active, but the only choices are "organize," "export" "import." I can't even get the sidebar that lets me open my iTunes radio stations. I just upgraded to version 10 to see if that was the problem, but to no avail.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI selected shrek's fairytale free app from appstore for downloading. During downloading, i moved/drag the shrek icon inside a game group just to organize my apps. However, a notification poped up saying that the terms and condition for itune has changed. So i broswed it and selected agree. But i noticed that shrek's icon is not in the grouped that previously moved nor on the original location. I go to appstore but it keeps on popping "Download now" "Shrek's fairytale kingdom will now begin to download." . The appsstore is encountering an infinte loop in my phone. By the way, im using an iphone 4s IOS 5.1.1.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI cannot find my iPhoto Library file. I had almost 17,000 pictures and now when I start iPhoto it shows an empty window to choose a new library or use an existent. But there is no library anymore under my pictures folder. I used Data Rescue 3 and Virtual Lab do not find pictures in my HD. On 6 th April my BT homehub2 updated it's firmware and that's when the problems started. Broadband went down completely and powerlineadapters adapters for bt vision fried. After 2 telephone support calls we eventually got the home hub reset and connected to broadband. Bt supplied two new powerlineadapters and bt vision is now working. Laptop, iPhones and iPad (and bt vision) all connect fine and work completely well.Â
My iMac running OS X 10.7.3, appears to work in that it connects no problem to home hub and when you run diagnostics it says your Internet connection appears to be working normally... However I cannot get a web page to load - I have tried chrome, Firefox and safari. The bizarre thing is using Outlook I can send and receive email, also my apple devices are still syncing via the iCloud - that would suggest that the iMac is indeed connecting wirelessly to the router and sending and receiving data - just no web pages at all - also it can't connect to things like iTunes store or apples app store... Everything was working fine until the firmware update! Â
Also may/may not be related but when I log in now I always have to manually connect to router, it always connects fine but it used to do it automatically, also recently upgraded to Lion and I have my doubts there too?Â

Have just upgraded my macbook to Lion. I logged into the app store, bought, downloaded and installed Lion no problem.
After upgrade I returned to the app store to download ibooks author. I can find ibooks author but when I try and install the app I have to sign in and I get a "connection failed" error message.
The same happens in iTunes when I try and view my account - "The network connection failed"Â
I can access the internet with no problems - including secure sites. I can access software update with no problems.Â
I have made no changes to my network settings - could sign in and download apps before upgrade, unable to after upgrade.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just made the switch from PC to MAC. So far I am doing ok with all the differences but one thing is driving me insane!
When browsing through my HD or external HD every time I click a folder it opens a new window. WHY? Is there any way to have it all use one window? I found in Finder there is an option to always open in a new window but this option is not checked.
In case it matters I am running OSX 10.6.3.
