ITunes :: Store Purchase Does Not Show In Music Library

Two songs purchased from iTunes store today. Download looked OK, new purchases do show in Store>Purchased list. I added ratings, and songs went to smart playlist for top rated songs. BUT songs do not appear in Library>Music where all songs are. Search indicates they do not exist. It is from this library I drag to other lists. But without them there I am stumped. Never seen this before.

ITunes Mac :: Music Library Purchase For Shared MyBook World Edition?
I am using a MyBook World Edition for shared music playing for all laptops on our network. I have figured out how to access the files to play and even how to make the library on a laptop point to it. However, I was wondering if I purchased an album or an app for iphone, etc. if the downloaded file would actually be able to go right to the shared music folder on the MyBook or not? I don't want to have such files only on one computer, but on the shared network drive.

ITunes Mac :: Music Library Will Not Show Up
I cannot view my music library. Whenever I click on music the page freezes on the store or goes to a blank white page. The same thing happens when I click on playlists, purchased items, or when I insert a CD. If I press play I can still hear music I just cannot see it. I've reinstalled itunes and the problem is still there.

ITunes :: Gift Purchases Show In ITunes Purchase History?
I just went through the process of buying an app as a gift to be delivered via email. Typed my personal message to the recipient, confirmed the delivery address. Got the review screen. Then when I clocked to purchase the app, I got a security screen asking me to select 3 security questions and an alternate email address. Got immediate emails from Apple noting the changes to my account. But I never got an email confirming the gift purchase. How do I tell if it went through? The item is not listed in my purchases, but maybe that's by design?   Did the security question dialog hijack the purchase process?

(Also checked my credit card website, and it doesn't look like there's a pending charge yet. But I'd hate to purchase this app twice.)

ITunes :: Using Itunes To Play Music From External Drive / Playlists Show No Music File
...now I don't have the same functionality with iTunes. Basically, I can't use iTunes at all anymore as the interface for my music and videos. Once the external drive is mounted, I can navigate through it and play individual songs, but I can't use iTunes to do that. All my previous Playlists show up down the left side of iTunes, but there isn't any music in them.

I downloaded 2 songs yesterday, made a Playlist out of them, and because the path in the Advanced tab of the iTunes Preferences is correct, it automatically added the songs to the external hard drive. I synced my iPod and it was completely erased except for the 2 new songs. Is there a way to use iTunes to navigate my music like I used to when I stored the information on the internal hard drive but keep the information on the external drive? I have a Mac running Snow Leopard and the latest version of iTunes.

ITunes Mac :: Sharing Library Doesn't Include All Music That's In Main Music Library?
I turned on Home Sharing in the Remote app on my iPhone 4. It readily found my Home Sharing Library from my iMac (that contains 1306 items). After entering in my Apple ID and password, I tried to search for a recently purchased song using the Remote app and it didn't find it. I went to the iMac and immediately found the song in the Library and in the Purchased playlist. I also noticed that the Library on the iMac contains 2781 items.

Question #1: Why wouldn't the Home Sharing Library on my iMac not contain the same songs that are in the Library on the same iMac?

To solve the problem, I just synced the iMac to the Remote app (not through Home Sharing) and was able to see my entire library.

Problem/Question #2: Since my Home Sharing library doesn't show all the music, when my wife's MacBook Home Shares, she too does not see all the music available for streaming. They are all on the same wi-fi network. The reason I use Home Sharing vs. Sharing of the library is that I automatically transfer iPhone apps across the network as she syncs her iPhone to her computer (she wants no music).

ITunes Mac :: Music Library Is Not Showing All My Music
I have just under 1500 tracks on my macbook, all stored in the iTunes library folder where they should be. However, when I open iTunes, it says it cannot find the original file for loads of my music (there is a little '!' symbol on the left hand side).

I get the option to search for the original file and I just go to the iTunes library folder and there it is, along with all my other music that iTunes can see!

This is a random problem as when I open iTunes, its not always the same tracks it cant find, its always different ones

ITunes Mac :: Purchased Music Does Not Appear In My Music Library
I recently bought an album from the iTunes store, but cannot locate it in my main music library in iTunes. When running iTunes, the new music appears under my "Purchased" music tab (left-hand column under the "iTunes Store" tab), and I am able to play the purchased music. However, the purchased music still does not show under my "Music" (left-hand column under "Library") tab in my main music library.

I've purchased music before from the iTunes store and never had this problem. The music has always appeared under both my "Purchased" music tab and in my main music library.

How can I get my purchased music to appear in my main music library?

App Store :: Moving Purchase From One Store To Another
I have some apps that I bought sometimes ago when I'm still living in newzealand. Now I moved to other country permernantly. Therefore, I have to change newzealand mac app store to us mac app store(Apple forces me, because my new credit card is us base).

Problem is, I have to switch back to newzealand store everytime I needed to install something, then switch back to US store to install some other thing. that's annoying.

Now, I can rebuy the apps that I've already have for my US store, but that's hideus, why should I pay twice for the same thing ? Is that the best if Apple let me transfer the apps ? what big deal about it ? beside's the country flag the apps are rather look and cost the same, why don't let me do it?

ITunes Mac :: ITunes Music Store Won't Layout Properly
When I launch the ITMS in iTunes (v9.2.1), it won't format properly. It looks like a web page with the CSS file missing.Instead of it cycling through ten large images (which I really detest, BTW), it stacks them vertically. Below the large images are all manner of thumbnails and unpleasant looking HTML formatted links. They are bulleted and underlined. There is fifty screens of this, two items at a time. It goes through all the content that would be on the normal ITMS page (e.g. movies, TV shows, etc...) but with this rudimentary formatting.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. I have deleted all the preferences that I could find that referred to iTunes. My firewall is set to allow incoming connections for iTunes.Does anyone have any ideas on what would cause this, or how I could resolve this?

ITunes Mac :: ITunes Library / Gone And Won't Show Up
I recently reformatted my Mac after some partitioning issues. I backed everything up on Time Machine, launched Disk Utility, reinstalled the OS, and then restored data from the backup. Worked incredibly smoothly - everything appears to be in working order except for one thing: iTunes.I launched iTunes 10 and all my old playlists were there, but they were all "empty" (it wasn't even an empty list, just a blank white screen). I've tried everything: reinstalling iTunes (after following the complete uninstall directions on this site as best as I could), deleting previous libraries, and nothing will show up. The same applies to Movies, TV shows, etc. I just opened a song in iTunes and it plays fine...after the song ends it switches to another song I added, so I know that the songs are there, just nothing's displaying.

Also when viewing iTunes preferences, sometimes it crashes giving me a -50 error, so I know that there has to be something wrong here.

ITunes Mac :: Downloading Music From German ITunes Store.
Sorry if this question has already been posted before, but I was wondering how the process works for downloading songs from a foreign iTunes store, specifically, the German store. Is the process exactly the same or are there additional steps that one needs to do? It's giving me a Sign In prompt, I do it, but nothing seems to happen after that. I have some money left over from a gift card, so when I'm finally able to download the songs, I assume it will just deduct the funds as it normally would, using a currency converter or something? I'm a little confused.

ITunes Mac :: Wrong File Locations In ITunes Music Library?
I have wrong file locations in my XML file, example:

<key>Location</key><string>file://localhost/Volumes/Music/iTunes/Alex%20Smoke/Lux/1-07%20Lux+.mp3</string> <key>Location</key><string>file://localhost/Volumes/Music/iTunes/Alex%20Smoke/Lux/14%20Harmonious.mp3</string>

These files are actually in the Volumes/Music/iTunes/Music/Alex%20Smoke/... folder. (the difference is another "Music" folder in the tree...)

Weird thing is that whenever I delete the XML file and restart iTunes to create it again, they are still there with the wrong location, but they play fine in iTunes! Even more, after I play them in iTunes, and restart it to create the XML file again, they are OK in the XML too.

My only problem is that there are 600+ of these mistakes in my XML, and I'd really love to have another solution to fix it, not having to locate and play them one by one..

ITunes Mac :: See IPod Songs In ITunes - But Can't Save Them In Library Or Music Folder?
Initially had loaded my iTunes onto a PC and "homeshared" to my Mac. PC died and could not disable homesharing on THAT end. But did disable homesharing on my Mac.

Synced by iPod (appears to be a PC model) and all songs showed up under device in iTunes. But, all songs were downloaded from CDs (not iTunes store). So: tried to select all and save to a new folder under music. No dice.

Tried "Add to Library" from iTunes File Menu...nada. Since the songs were originally loaded to the iPod from a Windows PC, do I need a utility in order to get them uploaded to my Mac? Really don't want to have to re-record them all (>1000 songs) and know I must be missing something obvious here.
