Is it possible to open a US iTunes Store account from Europe? I want to download TV series etc from the iTunes store. What do I need should it be possible? Can I do it with a european credit card?
I have just signed up for a MobileMe email address. I want to change my existing iTunes account registered email address to this new @me.com address. However, when I try to do so in my account details page, it says that my me.com email address already has an iTunes account attached to it.
How do I go about changing my registered iTunes account email address?
I can't open iTunes Store. It keeps on saying "One Moment Please. Connecting to the iTunes Store. Loading ... " but nothing loads even after hours of waiting. I can't even login to my iTunes account. It keeps on giving me error -50. It says "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-50). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.

Everything in the setup process goes well until I hit the part when I must enter in my three-digit security code. I do so, then proceed. iTunes won't proceed because it appears I have not entered a valid security code. But the problem is, it is in fact valid: I've used it before for other things and it works fine. I've triple-checked; it's kinda hard to incorrectly type a three-digit number.

I setet up an iTunes account with a $25 card I bought from the Apple Store on 5th Avenue in NYC. Since then, I send money to a friend who lives in the US and he emails me back the code from a gift voucher. My account is registered at his address but doesn't have any billing information in. I was just reading that when you go in for the first time, it asks you to verify your credit card information. As I don't live in the US and don't have a US credit card, and set the account up with store credit, how would I go through and confirm my billing information without card info? Also if I can get around the problem above, and I have credit on my iTunes Store account, can this be used to pay for apps?
View 3 Replies View RelatedTried out the App Store today, it looks cool. Way cooler than expected, I actually like it. I decided to go on a downloading spree of FREE apps. Now I have an Apple ID, but I've never filled out the credit card info. I will not be using the App Store for anything paid, I don't want to put in my credit card info, is there any way I can create an account without giving Apple my CC details? Cons: seems pretty hopeless at detecting installed apps. Apparently I don't have GarageBand or Keynote installed. Ah well.

The Search function in the Store only refers to the store and not to my Library. So how can I open a second window in iTunes (one with the Store and one with my Library) to make it easier to compare?

I have just discovered that my IMAP email account is not saving any of my outgoing SENT emails on the server ! I have checked the settings and the option to store on the server is ticked.
I spoke to my ISP guy just now and he confirmed that there is nothing in the sent folder despite the fact that I sent three important emails today.
He suggested I 'untick' the option and save sent emails on my local iMac - and I did - and it works.....
But what is the point of an IMAP account ?? I need to work at two locations and synch the accounts ...
I found mention of this elsewhere on Google... but cannot see any fix.

My daughter has just moved out and so now has her own internet and email address. Yesterday she was setting up all her new email addresses. Because she was having problems with setting up one of them, she deleted the old account even though it will still be active for another week or so and then recreated it. Now she cannot access any of her old emails from that account. The message she receives "This message from _____ has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it." There are no emails left on the server and they are not on her online account either. She has some rather important emails in there. Is there anyway she can access them?

The only manufacturer to exceed Apple's growth in the U.K. was the top-selling Acer, which saw 35.5 percent growth based on the strength of its low-cost netbook sales. I open App Store application and it shows that I have 1 update available for an app I never purchased. I try clicking the update button and get the message "You have updates available for other accounts: Sign in to [url]... to update applications for that account." -- I have no clue what this account is or where it came from but it's not mine. MY updates seem to be working OK but I can't get rid of this 1 update available message.

I have a batch of HD video downloads in my iTunes Store queue that I can't delete. Before it was annoying, having to purchase both the regular video and HD video, then delete the unwanted HD download from my queue list, but now it's a problem. I can't empty the unwanted HD downloads, and for me to download them all will tie up my connection for a week or more.

Okay, I'm planning on getting a new iMac in September (It will be my first Mac) and I want to bring over some, but not all, of my iTunes library on my old PC to the Mac. I want to know if, after I move all the music I want to to my new computer, can I continue using the same iTunes account I did on my PC (It's my whole families account), but also get any songs anyone buys on the old computer to the Mac by just logging in? Also, is it possible to send all of the music I buy on the Mac to the PC by using the same account? The reason I want to share music is because my brother and I like a lot of the same music and I don't want to have to keep burning the songs he buys on a disc so I can put them on my Mac.
So my question is, can I use the same account I use on my PC on my Mac? And will any songs that are bought on the PC using the same account as the Mac automatically be on the Mac? I'm sorry if I'm not very clear, I just can't think of any way to explain this better.
