Intel Mac :: Everything Works Except It Won't Load Web Pages Or Connect To ITunes Store, App Store Etc?

On 6 th April my BT homehub2 updated it's firmware and that's when the problems started. Broadband went down completely and powerlineadapters adapters for bt vision fried. After 2 telephone support calls we eventually got the home hub reset and connected to broadband. Bt supplied two new powerlineadapters and bt vision is now working. Laptop, iPhones and iPad (and bt vision) all connect fine and work completely well.Â
My iMac running OS X 10.7.3, appears to work in that it connects no problem to home hub and when you run diagnostics it says your Internet connection appears to be working normally... However I cannot get a web page to load - I have tried chrome, Firefox and safari. The bizarre thing is using Outlook I can send and receive email, also my apple devices are still syncing via the iCloud - that would suggest that the iMac is indeed connecting wirelessly to the router and sending and receiving data - just no web pages at all - also it can't connect to things like iTunes store or apples app store... Everything was working fine until the firmware update! Â
Also may/may not be related but when I log in now I always have to manually connect to router, it always connects fine but it used to do it automatically, also recently upgraded to Lion and I have my doubts there too?Â
I have a MacBook Pro, and its been working, but when I try to download pages from the app store, it won't work. The little load icon appears and the "buy app" button turns light grey, but after this, is does nothing. I've left it on for a full 24 hours, and it still sat there.
Why? Also free apps are not downloadable while all other options on the info pages works? If I remember well, while opening my apple ID i made some settings? Unfortunately I can't find it back and do not know how to change it.Â
From a certain moment now i could not surf on some web sites as Facebook (really long to open, then html text on the left,[URL]etc) also when i want to update my apps on iTunes, he sais cannot connect to iTunes store, weired. I already empty the cache, and cookies on Firefox, dosent do anything, oh! And as same for chrome, safari and internet explorer. It seems that the big sites are blocked.I work on iMac g5 os lion 10.7.2, processor 3.06 GHz, Firefox 10.0, iTunes 10.5.3 no firewall
I am trying to do updates through the App Store on both my iPhone and my new iPad 3. At first, I kept getting the message that it didn't recognize my password. I reset my password on both of my Apple ID accounts, but now it says "Cannot connect to iTunes store"!!
Whenever I am trying to sign in Mac App Store, a message saying "connection failed" will show up. I have no problem signing in itunes with my Apple ID, so I know my details are correct. Internet connection works just fine over ethernet, with firewall turned off and there's no other third party app (little snitch) or antivirus program which may restrict the network access from Mac App Store. I restored the OS from internet few days back because of a kernel error. Now I need to sign in Mac App Store to download my iLife applications.
I downloaded pages and numbers from the app store. Both apps downloaded to my phone and iPad but not on the iMac? I thought this was compatible with the iMac also? Did I download the wrong thing? Is there a seperate app for the imac?
Suddenly (as of this AM) my iTunes App Store pages are blank. Never had this problem before. [I'm running a MBA under 10.7.3, with latest iTunes (10.5.3).]Â Symptoms: The Home Page is completely blank except for right panels (Quick Links, Top Charts) and iTunes Store footer; all other tabs on top do the same, except for App Store page, which is completely blank.Connection to Store is fine--iPhone syncs w/o a problem, and I can see my apps, music, updates, etc., can even access my Wish List.Updates download w/o problems, but if I try to view page for an app, only the top part of the page loads, down to "What's New in version xxx". Everything below is blank--no views of app, no Reviews, etc.Category pages will load, but without any Thumbnails, only text, but Purchase buttons work.My iPhone connects and appears as it should--no problems at all.
What I've Tried:reloading iTunes page--several times--no help.Reopening iTunes--several times--no help.Rebooting Mac--dittoRemoving iTunes.rsrc from iTunes [Package Contents/Resources] folder--relaunching iTunes-->didn't help, made it worse-->put it back...same issueOn iPhone:App Store seems to work fine.

When I bought my Macbook Pro on Thursday I also purchased Pages whilst in the Apple store in town. The assistant helped me start the installation whilst I was there and he told me that it would continue when I got home, even if i shut the laptop down there. So this is what I did, however, since I've been home, every time I click Install on Pages in the App Store a message comes up saying : "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later."Â Another thing I should mention is that I purchased Pages on a different Apple ID account when I was in the store, but I was told I only had to log in to that account from my Macbook Pro and I could easily download Pages.
I'm trying to buy a song from iTunes but it keeps sayin Cannot Connect To iTunes Store and I have good Ethernet connection I'm able to look for songs and listen to them. Is anybody having trouble connecting to iTunes?

I have been try to connect to the iTunes store, and keep getting same MSG. " Cannot connect to ITunes Store" Was working fine up until last night. I am using an iPad and seems on most threads here the issue is the same. Info:iPad 2, iOS 5.0.1
iTunes cannot connect to the iTunes Store after 10.6 (40) 64 bit upgrade... then I created a new User Acount for my wife and I discover that she can connect to the iTunes Store.Â

I have purchased a magazine subscription throught the iTunes store and I download it. I have checked the wireless network connection and it is good. In the receipt I receveid from Apple for the purchase, when I click on the "report a problem" link, I get a message which says unable to connect to the iTunes store.
Who can help me to solve this problem? Starting the App Store, I immediately get the message: One Moment Please.Connecting to the iTunes Store.LoadingThis message stays on my screen until removal.
I reside in Spain and I've recently opened a joint account with a US resident here in Los Angeles at Charles Schwab bank.The financial consultant told us it's possible to deposit checks into schwab account through an app for iphone [URL]I've tried to download but it appears the following window: "your application has not been able to complete" and "The article you requested is not available at this time in Spanish Store, but is available in the U.S. Store. Click Change Store to view this article". If I click to change the Store from the Spanish to the American store, I have to fill the data but my ID apple is not working on the "foreign" store. What can I do? Is there a way to buy / download items from a different Itunes stores?Â
I have been trying to find my current charges for apps and wish to return the ones that are not suitable. I follow the steps as described and after signing I have gotten the message cannot find iTunes store and it leaves me there. The instructions given do not pertain to the setup of the iTunes store.
Have just upgraded my macbook to Lion. I logged into the app store, bought, downloaded and installed Lion no problem.
After upgrade I returned to the app store to download ibooks author. I can find ibooks author but when I try and install the app I have to sign in and I get a "connection failed" error message.
The same happens in iTunes when I try and view my account - "The network connection failed"Â
I can access the internet with no problems - including secure sites. I can access software update with no problems.Â
I have made no changes to my network settings - could sign in and download apps before upgrade, unable to after upgrade.
I just bought a $10 iTunes card and I want to by iMovie from the Mac App Store. (which brings my balance to $16.48) My problem is whenever I try to buy this product I'm sent to the billing page. I don't have a credit card so I select "none" and try to purchase iMovie again. But it just sends me back to the billing page. I don't want to buy another card in order to redeem something on the billing page so what do I do?

i just wanted to simply get the updated free Facebook App on my ipod, i dont have a credit card so it wont let me review my apple ID...is there anything else i can do?
Purchases I have made on the app store, do not show up in m iTunes.I therefore cannot sync them.Any ideas on why the App Store and iTunes are not communications?I have logged out and re-loged into my iTunes to ensure it is the same account.
