I have a Canon MX350 wifi printer that my MacAir recognizes but not my iMac. Both are on OS X 10.7.4Â snow leopard. It's a pain to get anything printed right now - I have to grab everything through the MacAir since I can't print or scan directly from the iMac.What do I do?

I'm having an issue with the printer and scanner preferences after an upgrade from SL to lion. It keeps quitting, after several attempts I could reset the printing preferences as described in the apple support doc here [URL] but no luck it still quits. I also reset the pram and smc.

Bought the HP C5280 All-in-on printer mainly for being able to print directly on DVDs and CDs. There is even a big compatible with Mac logo on the package. Well...the software that comes with the printer is Roxio Labeler for WINDOWS only

Suddenly it can't print and show the message driver can't find. From that day identify and issue was the spotlight didn't work. Immediately send the hardware to the nearest store. Store helper advise to format the machine. No choice I have to allow them do it. Before format I do raise out the printing matter, they are so confident and tell apple mac is auto detect. Unfortunatelly the printer matter wasn't resolve. Need advise on this matter. On the other hand, how to made an complaint about store bad service at the store. I've got a dual-ethernet Airport Extreme base station. I've connected my AIO HP c309a to it by every possible means; ethernet, wireless and USB.
No matter what I do, I can NOT scan from my computer or to my computer, wirelessly.
I used to get an error to the effect of, "failed to create a session" when trying to scan. Now, I'm unable to locate the scanner in Preview at all!
It prints just fine. I've installed the latest Snow Leopard printer drivers, and they're working fine and are the correct drivers. Airport Extreme's firmware is up to date.
I have a Macbook Pro, ipad 2 and apple tv as well as a Canon MP640 all connected through airport xtreme. All was working fine until I upgraded from Snow Leopard to OS X Lion. Now I can't print or scan to my Mac, either from the MacBook or from the printer/scanner.

Since I upgraded to Maverick the Scan Print in System Preferences freezes when I try to open it. I repaced my old Canon printer, because there was not a driver update available for it. My new printer is a HP Photosmart 7520. I downloaded the newest driver and software for it , but when I try to open HP Utilities it also freezes.

I want to potentially upgrade my hard drive from the measly 160GB to something with more space, more current, and hopefully faster. I've been doing my homework, and the only thing that scares me is the OS. I don't want to clone my harddrive as I would love to start new. I have back ups, so anything important can be transferred, but I would really like a clean slate. That would mean installing the OS from scratch. Can I use the boot disc I made with the Lion installer to install Lion on the new drive directly? I bought my MacBook Pro with Leopard installed, and later that summer installed Snow Leopard, then last summer upgraded to Lion. I don't have the Snow Leopard discs anymore, but I wouldn't want to install each after the other.How do I go about installing that? If I have a brand new drive, there theoretically won't be anything on it, so when I get that in and turn on the computer, what will happen? Will it tell me to do something?

When I look at ads for TVs, whether it's LCDs or plasmas, the contrast ratios are significantly greater. Can the contrast ratios of TVs be compared directly to computer monitors?
