1. Tried to send a couple of emails via local mail iCloud account. Mail sent sound indicated mail sent, but message not in sent folder. Have since sent test mails to other accounts and they have not arrived.
2. tried to save composed mail as draft, received "Error:The message could not be saved.". Currently using 1,5 gb storage so not an issue.

I upgraded my iMac to Lion recently. Currently running OSX 10.7.3.
I suddenly am unable to have my .Mac email delivered to the Mail application on my iMac, yet my .Mac emails are delivered to my iPhone without any issues and I can also access them via logging-in to my iCloud account using an internet browser. My Mail account pane is as follows. Note that the Incoming Mail server is dimmed-out and I am unable to enter any text into it.

I was working on a problem with apple support and may have caused thi new problem. My iCloud account suddenly disappeared and was replaced by secondary email address I never used before. All my iCloud mail is gone. I tried to correct by going to accounts and tried to change the email address but it woul not do it because I am unable to edit the incoming mail criteria. I am using Mail for my various email accounts but the two imap accounts (AOL and iCloud) frequently get into a mode of demanding the password when Mail is launched. It might take up to 10 inputs to stop 'looping' the demand for the password.

I have just upgraded my MacbookPro and my MacPro from 10.6 to 10.7.Â
For whatever reason - the MBP works fine and can access all my email accounts, whilst the MP is constantly rejecting the password for iCloud.Â
My Mobileme account was upgraded to iCloud several months ago and has been in daily use on both macs ever since.Â
The only difference in the upgrades is that the MBP upgrade was not a clean install, whereas the MP was installed with a clean hard drive and then all apps/data was transfered over. Disk permissions have been repaired and that has made no difference.Â
Both macs are on the same network, with the same passwords and same account settings.

My iCloud account Sent Mail and Drafts are being syncronized between the cloud the iPhone, but not the iMac. So for example, I see 2 items in my Drafts folder when I log into icloud.com, and I see them in the drafts folder on iPhone mail, but they do not appear in the drafts folder for my iCloud account on Mail.app on the iMac. Also, I don't see emails I sent from icloud.com on my Mac's mail. I have iCloud enabled on the mac, and mail syncing is specifically turned on. Â

Suddenly I have lost all the notes I have added / changed in the last three weeks or so! This is borderline catastrophic for me, lots of important stuff.Â
Very weird; I did not lose any other info (calendars or addresses, etc.), only Notes. And it happened across all devices / places (iPhone, iMac, iCloud).Â
The only recent event that can possibly have something to do with this (I don't know how) is that I purchased a new Macbook Air and did a Migration Assistant. Again, the odd thing is that Notes was the only thing affected. how I can retrieve them?? (I have synced since losing them. Mail & Notes are being pushed through iCloud.)Â
