ICloud :: Mail Is Very Slow To Update And Sometimes Won't Load?
May 11, 2012Is anyone else having problems with iCloud mail at the moment? For the past few days it has been VERY slow to update, sometimes failing altogether. Yesterday, I deleted a number of emails, only to find them restored after a later update. I am beginning to think about no longer using iCloud mail and shifting my main email account to my gmail account - it works every time!

Nov 5, 2010What happens is that i attend a school, where we are 700 people using the same internet. Actually it's divided into 4 sections, so there are probably 250 in my group. This network is protected by a WPA2 password, and has additional login forms, which gives the school the ability to check all in- and outgoing transfer. However, I have lately been getting some problems connecting. What happens is that I connect, and it works for about 2 minutes. Then, it just won't load any sites and just keeps trying to load until it finally admits that it can't retrieve the server. It's my third year. and I have never experienced this before, so I thought: Well, gotta be the school's internet, but i haven't heard of any other ones having this problem. This makes me worried that my macbook's airport extreme card is broken.
I was wondering if anyone had experienced a similar problem, or maybe could give a hint towards a solution? I am running a 13 inch macbook unibody (the silver one), with the newest system and all upgrades installed. Problem is: The airport extreme card is located in the display. I don't get why, but it makes me not want to change it myself, should it be destroyed.

Jun 20, 2012I have got for the communitiy regarding iCloud storage please.Are we, of if not, will we ever be at the stage where we can use iCloud as off-site storage for not just e-mail but documents saved in Word, Excel and Powerpoint for Apple and Photos stored in iPhoto.I ask as my Time Capsule recently packed up and was wondering with the advance of Cloud computing could iCloud replace my old storage / back-up.

Jul 1, 2012I completely forgot to reset anything that was in the mobilme area of iweb before it closed which referred to my site address resetting the CNAME someone's mentioned?I've gone into 123 reg and disabled the web forwarding address I had to cloak the me.com address, uploaded my new files via FTP but I can't get away from the 'mobile me closed' page.I've emptied cache etc any ideas of how to disassociate from mobileme finally?

Apr 1, 20121. Tried to send a couple of emails via local mail iCloud account. Mail sent sound indicated mail sent, but message not in sent folder. Have since sent test mails to other accounts and they have not arrived.
2. tried to save composed mail as draft, received "Error:The message could not be saved.". Currently using 1,5 gb storage so not an issue.

Apr 19, 2012I have just upgraded my MacbookPro and my MacPro from 10.6 to 10.7.Â
For whatever reason - the MBP works fine and can access all my email accounts, whilst the MP is constantly rejecting the password for iCloud.Â
My Mobileme account was upgraded to iCloud several months ago and has been in daily use on both macs ever since.Â
The only difference in the upgrades is that the MBP upgrade was not a clean install, whereas the MP was installed with a clean hard drive and then all apps/data was transfered over. Disk permissions have been repaired and that has made no difference.Â
Both macs are on the same network, with the same passwords and same account settings.

I dont have a huge amount of things on mobile me.. What sort of information is it accessing, from mobile me or my computer too?
