Apr 9, 2012This seems to be an ongoing issue Apple. FaceTime was working fine until yesterday when it decided at all incoming and outgoing calls would fail and now it is stuck on server encountered an error processing registration try again later.

Apr 26, 2012I'm envisioning a scenario where users can drop multi-page, image based PDF files into a shared folder. That folder is "watched" on a OS X Lion server and new files are OCR processed and then moved to another location. My googling so far hasn't showed much promise. Most solutions I'm finding are for windows. Has anyone solved this problem yet? Currently my users are doing the processing in Adobe Acrobat X Pro by hand. It's crushing their laptops and proving to be quite inefficient.

May 7, 2012My facetime was working fine until recently it asked for a login and this time when I did login with my Apple id, it prompted for email verification. However it is not able to complete the verification and keeps giving the following error message : Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again.
I have checked the support forums and they all point towards preferences. Problem is that the preferences option for face time is grayed out and I am not able to use them.Â

Dec 21, 2010All I do is to add/remove columns on a spreadsheet using Excel 2011 and I see beach balls every time. I'm using Ultimate 13" Air and only running iCal and Excel concurrently. Activity monitor shows excel using 0.2% of CPU. This puzzles me alot.

They had said if I'm able to use wireless then I should be able to connect to the server. When I click on it, it always says There was a problem connecting to the server. Mac OS X Lion Server :: ICal Server Shared Calendars "403" Error?
Jun 13, 2012We are currently running a 10.7.4 Server with 10.7.4 clients. The problem is with the calendar system's sharing funtion. Some users will consistently receive an error message "403" Stating that the user does not have permission to edit the item when they edit an item or change an existing event to another user's shared calendar. After some troublshooting I found that if I made the claendar in question the default calendar in iCal, I was able to create vents without problem. I have tried removing the problemed users from that calendar's list of shared users, and changing permissions back and forth from Read to Read/Write without any success. There are no iCloud or MobileMe accounts on any of the client machines, a pertinent negative as searching for a resolution to this issue yeilds many similar problems related to those services. Â
Summary:Creating or editing an event in a shared calendar within iCal (while not the host of sdaid calendar) results in a error code 403. However, when the user in question changes their default calendar to the shared calendar, there is no issue creating new events. The issue is only persistant with a few users. Other users have no issue manipulting existing records in the same shared calendar. Â

I was in the process of registering it, but I realized that there was no AppleCare Registration Number that came with the box. I read some where that if I bought my MBP with the applecare that it would be automatically registered, but when I tried to check my registration status it said that I didn't have anything registered. My question is, are there any other ways to check if my MBP got registered?

Jun 2, 2012I wonder if with regards to accessing FaceTime on multiple devices. We have a number of Mac products (iPad, iPhones and Mac Book Pro) at our house, all connected to one wireless network. Some of these devices can log into FaceTime but others cannot (notably the MacBook pro), using the same Apple ID details. The error message I get is that I should check my network connection. However, the connection is fine, and other devices have no problems with connecting to Facetime.
