OS X Mavericks :: FaceTime Error Verification Email
Sep 1, 2014
I have an issue with Face time the soft didn't work so I decided to upgrade my OS from snow leopard to maverick. So I tried to log in on face time..First time I filled my identified Apple and my password ok,...It began to check my email never ending..I shut down my mac and re-tried then after filling my email and my password, I touch "next", "check" and face time goes back to apple Id...Â
Info:
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4), recently upgrade from snow leopard
For some reason iCloud has decided that my account is no longer verified. None of my Mac computers or iOS devices are able to log on the the iCloud account. When trying to access the iCloud settings on my Mac I get the message that the account is not verified and that I should follow the instructions in the email sent to me. I have not received any email. No matter how many times I click the "resend confirmation" button I still am not getting the email containing instructions on how to reconfirm my account.
I am trying to verify my new apple id. I have ensured that my email address is correct, and have gotten the notification, both from the Ipad and from a desktop that a verification email has been sent. But I have never received one. I would really like to be able to utilize this for work.
I have just updated my mac to lion, but unable to verify my apple ID, so that i can get onto iCloud. but i used apple id to pay for lion so i know that the email and password are correct
Just logged into my iMac and got the following error. Bit worried, what happens now? Have I lost all my TM history form the start of TM backing up? Is my TC on the way out?
Just downloaded Facetime into Snow Leopard. Everything is up to date. Have not been able to open it. Keeps telling me that I need to quit Facetime and open it again.Â
I got the this Error while trying to partition my hard drive after deleting my boot camp partition and then trying to make my Macintosh HD the full 250gb... Partition failed with the error: Could not modify partition map because filesystem verification failed. After I got this error I went to the "first aid" tab in disk utility and tried to "repair disk permissions" then try it and got the same error...
MBP 2012 running on OSX10.9.3 crashes frequently. Disk Verification gives an error during "Checking extended attributes file." and asks for reboot and repair. No error could be detected and no repair would be done when DU is run during restart.
About a month ago, I made a typo when i changed the password to my administrator account. I logged in to a secondary account, succesfully chancing the password of the administrator account. When I logged in to the admin, I was asked for the password to my keychain. This I made a long time ago, and had no clue of what could be. After an hour of constant requests for passwords for different apps and the keychain, I gave up. I deleted the original keychain(or deactivated), made a new one, and made that one the default. But now I am asked the password for that keychain every other minute, and I know that one, but it's just annoying to have to type it so often, especially when it pops up during a movie.

I use Google 2-step verification. With my upgrade to Yosemite, all my text messages that previously only went to my iPhone now also appear on my Macbook Pro. In general that's fine, but it's a big security problem.  If anyone gets my computer then they immediately have access to all my 2-step codes because the codes will be sent to my Macbook in addition to my phone. Previously I only had to worry about one device (my phone) and but now there is a big problem with my computer falling into the wrong hands.Â
Is this an attempt by Apple to stop people from using Google 2-step verification?Â
could not modify partition map because filesystem verification failed" I am trying to partition my hard drive to set up an XP system on it (I know, but it is for AutoCAD, sorry). Anyways, when I go into disk utility, and try to set up the partition, it fails. I have a newer uMBP, 375 free GB (trying to set up a 75 GB partition) and it just wont work. Weird. Nothing seems to be online about the problem.
I am having trouble with my FaceTime on my Mac. Awhile back, I changed my Apple ID's email address and deleted my old one, and now FaceTime won't give me the option to sign in with my new address.
It made me sign in using my apple id as if it were my first time doing using it. I have not changed my apple id user name or password. It will not let me log in or verify my email address.
My facetime was working fine until recently it asked for a login and this time when I did login with my Apple id, it prompted for email verification. However it is not able to complete the verification and keeps giving the following error message : Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again.
I have checked the support forums and they all point towards preferences. Problem is that the preferences option for face time is grayed out and I am not able to use them.Â

This seems to be an ongoing issue Apple. FaceTime was working fine until yesterday when it decided at all incoming and outgoing calls would fail and now it is stuck on server encountered an error processing registration try again later.
I am receiving an error 5.5.4 "Invalid Email address error code 17099 indicating that mail could not be sent for Account name: "Msn". I have recently moved from a PC laptop and have been sent email messages to this account on my iMac successfully for several weeks. The email address in question is actively sending and receiving messages. I can receive email from that account.
Like the title says, my iMessage and FaceTime is not working. I can't log in to either one of them on my MacBook Pro (OS X Mavericks 10.9.4).
I keep getting the message that it can't get configured at the moment but iMessage and FaceTime is activated on both my iPhone 5S and my iPad 2 and works like a charm there. So is should not be anything wrong with the account, is seems to be something blocking the log in on my admin user though. If i choose the "Guest Log in" everything works, here I can activate my iMessage account.Â
I read somewhere that it could be some program blocking iMessage / effecting iMessage / (The thread said FlashPlayer) so I have deleted all the local savings from Safari, settings and saved choices related to FlashPlayer.Â
