FaceTime :: Can't Open "internal Facetime Error Occurred"
Apr 2, 2012
Just downloaded Facetime into Snow Leopard. Everything is up to date. Have not been able to open it. Keeps telling me that I need to quit Facetime and open it again.
My facetime was working fine until recently it asked for a login and this time when I did login with my Apple id, it prompted for email verification. However it is not able to complete the verification and keeps giving the following error message : Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again.
I have checked the support forums and they all point towards preferences. Problem is that the preferences option for face time is grayed out and I am not able to use them.
Info: MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)
I wonder if with regards to accessing FaceTime on multiple devices. We have a number of Mac products (iPad, iPhones and Mac Book Pro) at our house, all connected to one wireless network. Some of these devices can log into FaceTime but others cannot (notably the MacBook pro), using the same Apple ID details. The error message I get is that I should check my network connection. However, the connection is fine, and other devices have no problems with connecting to Facetime.
I have an issue with Face time the soft didn't work so I decided to upgrade my OS from snow leopard to maverick. So I tried to log in on face time..First time I filled my identified Apple and my password ok,...It began to check my email never ending..I shut down my mac and re-tried then after filling my email and my password, I touch "next", "check" and face time goes back to apple Id...
Info: MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4), recently upgrade from snow leopard
Why do I keep receiving a "Facetime Failed" when I call another Mac Air and know they are waiting? Both are new Airs, and this app worked two weeks ago.
This seems to be an ongoing issue Apple. FaceTime was working fine until yesterday when it decided at all incoming and outgoing calls would fail and now it is stuck on server encountered an error processing registration try again later.
I am getting this message when I try to open the "messages" on my macbook pro: "An internal Messages error occurred." It doesn't give me anymore information and tells me I have to quit the program and restart. I do so and still get the same response. I have updated to the latest version of Yosemite and restarted the computer. This is a new issue that just arose today when I turned on my computer. I have been using messages, including the new text forwarding feature flawlessly since Yosemite's release and even before that for iMessages with mavericks.
I am still having trouble with this Registration error using FaceTime.I don't use FaceTime very often, but I have used it successfully in the past.I first received the error about a month ago (Feb-Mar 2012).
I am using the Apple firewall:Firewall Settings:Mode:Limit incoming connections to specific services and applications Applications
I'm trying to empty the trash on my iMac (running Snow Leopard) but I just get an error message: The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code - 8003).
I just saw a T-Mobile commercial where they practically dissed AT&T, but also dissed apple because they specifically mention the iPhone 4 not being able to make facetime calls without WiFi. All of these IPhone impersonators are making me sick! Does anybody know when this feature will be upgraded so I can shut all these apple haters up?
Me and my friend are trying to start a facetime chat. We are both on our our computers and have wifi.In addittion we both are calling using are emails so we know thats not the issue.I've tried calling her when shes online and it tells me she is unavailable. She tries calling me minutes later and it tells her that I am unavailable
You can now download a FaceTime app for your Mac and make video calls to iOS devices.http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/20/f...#disqus_thread Wish they hadn't left PC users out in the cold. Hoping for a skype update soon!
Evrytime i use facetime i hear a sound, but the ohter party can't hear it. I hear echo of my voice or even the tapping of my keyboards... it's like a feedback.
I had installed the FaceTime app in my MBP (OS X 10.6.8) sometime back. But the mic isn't working with the FaceTime app. i am able to see and hear what others speak but the person on the other end is not able to hear me.
