Apr 17, 2012Soon as I plugged the usb cable to an iPhone a message of "needs more power" appears for about 3 seconds.
After turning on the iPhone, none of my applications recognize the iPhone.
Normally when I plug my camera to the usb cable and turn it on Kodak Easyshare launches and I am able to transfer the images.
how I can transfer the images from the iPhone?

Jul 3, 2012After reinstall of OS X 10.7.4, I restored an older copy from Time Machine backup. I want to completely replace the current "Macintosh HD" folder with the folder that TM put inside it. I created a separate user account, that did not exist before to do it. Do I need to create a root account? Is there an easy way to copy /Macintosh HD/Macintosh HD/ to /Macintosh HD/?

OS X :: Reverse That Transfer Of Images Into The Waste Bin?
Dec 9, 2009Thinking that the contents of Finder's images folder were merely a history of images accessed, I placed the entire contents (2,020 images) of the folder into the waste bin. I realized my error upon opening my photos folder and seeing that no photos appeared.
Is there a way to reverse that transfer of images into the waste bin?
I couldn't highlight and move all the waste bin contents back into the images folder, so I tried moving just one image from the waste bin into the folder, but without success.

Feb 22, 2010using my early 2006 iMac with an Intel Core Duo processor. I have read several guides online on how to access the processor (taking apart the case, etc), and I am confident I am capable of undertaking the task. After reading this guide I feel like I will be able to do it myself (with the help of my electrical/mechanical engineering friend (still hasn't decided his major yet! I'm a physics student, so I should be capable as well, ha! Anyways as you can see, that guide gives very little information as to what CPUs can be used. I looked up the processor that they used in the guide (the T5600) and all of the results came up for a mobile processor. I have heard in the past that most of Apple's desktops contained "laptop grade" hardware, so it would make sense if it contained mobile components.

I have the adapter from Apple that includes the mini display port and converts that to a HDMI Cable to my Samsung Synch Master P2530. The monitor cannot be recognized my the iMac. This monitor worked with my older iMac and it's large display port which adapted to HDMI.
