My Samsung CLP310N has worked fine. I don't know if there was a software update (?) but it has stopped working. My Mac won't see it at all. I have downloaded new printer drivers from the Samsung site.I have downloaded Apple software update. Nothing I am trying works?
I want to connect my 2009 iMac, Mac os x version 10.5.8 to my 2008 Samsung LCD TV, model LN32A450C1D. Does anyone know what cords I will need so I can watch videos from my computer on my TV?
I recently bought an external 1TB Samsung usb disk for my Imac.I cant get the disk to partition or format correctly.Disk utility just keeps hanging waiting for the disk to reappear!
I got a Samsung F3,1TB installed and partitioned it via firewire to Guid Partition. One the original install CD 1 is inserted the Apple logo shows up for a second, disapears and a folder with a question-mark appears.
I'd like to view online content on my Samsung 7000 series LED. I don't mean streaming saved content, rather using my TV like a wireless monitor. My iMac is connected wirelessly, and the TV is wired to my router. Is it just a matter of getting something like a D-Link Boxee Box or Slingbox?
I have the new iMac 21.5 Inch with a Thunder Port connector that looks like a mini display port. I have the adapter from Apple that includes the mini display port and converts that to a HDMI Cable to my Samsung Synch Master P2530. The monitor cannot be recognized my the iMac. This monitor worked with my older iMac and it's large display port which adapted to HDMI. Info: IMac, Mac OS X (10.6.3)
I experience this problem for 2 days now. The wi fi says it is connected and all the bars are full but id doesn't load a single page! Â
The internet i've got is vergin so normally is very fast.Downstairs where we have a desktop computer connected to the D-link is working as normal.Â
When I open the network diagnostics in mac it shows : wi fi is green , wi-fi settings is green, network settings is failed(red), ISP failed(red), Internet failed (red), server failed red.Â
my iMac (Intel, OS X 10.6.8) doesn't detect dvd's anymore. I can hear the disc spinning but after a while it will be rejected. It's the same with original dvd's and copies.

I recently received an Intel SSD 80GB 2.5" for my MacBook (Alu MacBook 13"; the MacBook specific area is pretty dry as far as SSDs go). While it is quite fast and I am content with the speed, one anomaly has arisen. I was walking upstairs with my MacBook closed in hand and embraced to my chest when I heard a rattling noise coming from the sleeping machine. I opened it up to see that the SSD has about 1/2 to 1 inch of movement horizontally and about 1/2 inch vertically. When I put in the new drive I made sure to screw in the bracket nearest to the logicboard (but I later realized that the SSD does not have the nubs the old HDD did and therefore it does little in the way of securing the SSD). I looked at this video on information about how to install the SSD, but as far as I know, I have done everything that he has.
Am I correct in assuming that this is normal? This is my first installation of a new hard drive of any means into a laptop.
I just purchased the Lacie 1TB hard drive. I've plugged in the power wire and the 800 fire wire. The setup assistant is supposed to appear on my desktop, but it doesn't. Do I have to plug in all the wires that came with the HD?
when i try to highlight text to move it... the highlight disappears... it won't stay.. is that a Mouse problem or a Lion problem..... my imac is pretty old.... 5-6 years?
When I use shift, control, command and 4 I get the click that the screenshot has been taken but it does not appear on my desktop nor can I find it anywhere.

I'm a relatively new Mac user so I'm not sure if it's user ignorance or something is wrong with my computer but nothing happens when I insert a cd into the drive. Nothing shows up in iTunes, Finder, or on my desktop. Shouldn't I see an audio CD in iTunes? And if I put a blank DVD into the drive, shouldn't it show up in Finder so I can burn files to it?Â
My iMac doesn't turn off in the normal way any more. The system shuts down and the screen becomes black, but the fan keeps on running. And it deosn't stop! The only way to completely shut down everything is to hold the powerbutton.
I already have reinstalled Lion, but the problem is still prensent. I've got this iMac for around 6 months now, but this problem occured around 2 weeks ago. Before everything has been all right.
I have installed my HP designJet 500+ printer on to my iMac g5, which opperates OS 10.3.9 and I have no problems printing directly. However, I am trying to print to the same printer using my intel based iMac opperating OS 10.6.8 but I can't seem to 'see' the printer on the network.Â
I have made sure that the share printers button is checked on both computers and I have no problem establishing a netwok between the two computers (via ethernet).Â
Although the designjet is market as both shared and default printer on the G5, it doesn't actually appear in the shared printers list on the computer.
But today when I started my iMac he first didn't show my external hard drive so I thought maybe my hard drive is broken so I tried instead of FireWire an USB cable but that didn't work either. So I tried connecting it to another computer and it worked so the problem must be with my Mac somewhere.Â
Now my Mac goes extremely slow and when I do 'Shut down' it takes minutes to get him powered off completely. Â
Now after a few minutes my Mac sees my Hard Drive again but the Hard Drive usual Icon isn't showing and when I open it to browse through it, it goes extremely slow. It looks like he is initializing everything on my hard drive, so I can't copy or open anything that is on it because it goes so slow.Â
After several attempts my firewire would not mount on the iMac desktop. After reading the forum, so I reset the PRAM and the SMC.Â
NOW, after rebooting the iMac after 3 or 5 minutes the external disk connect with a firewire 400 appear on the desktop with a spcial mention from my iMac " Could not repair the external disk !?Â
Even though the disc is NEW and formated on the same machine two hours early!

Info: iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3), Processor 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3
My ten key pad that attaches to the keyboard doesn't display the numbers. The batteries are good and the green light comes on. What am I doing wrong?
