I'm trying to Load a mp4 video file in Silverlight application.its working fine in windows platforms browsers; But in mac the same video is showing in sideways.but other mp4 files are loaded properly in MAC Safarii dont know wy that particular video file is showing in sideways in mac safari.

Now my safari is unable to load websites with video streaming. It will load the site, and then the page goes blank as soon as it fully loads.

It started about a week ago. I dunno if it's a problem with Flash or what. But any time I try to open a video on sites such as gizmodo, engadget, youtube, or full episodes from like [URL]. whichever browser I attempt to open it with just completely crashes. This has been getting worse and worse and now it literally happens 100% of the time.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both browsers multiple times to no avail. I am REALLY dreading reinstalling my entire OS. Is there a way I can completely eliminate flash from my computer? Then I can manually download it from Adobe directly and see if that works.
Is there a way to show time remaining on download progress bar when downloading something via safari outside the app store?

Although my husband can open an .MPEG video file from my Sony DCRSX40 camera on his older PC, I just cannot oepen any of them on my new iMac. (They play well in the camera). QuickTime give me the error message that I do ntot have the proper video codec.

I am attaching multiple files from the same folder to different emails using gmail. I do not use any email programs on my iMac. Everything is virtual. I don't want to have go through all my file toggles to get to the folder I am working from every time, which is what I am doing.I want the computer to remember and default to that folder. View 2 Replies View RelatedSince getting a new iMac with Lion, I have noticed that frequently the screen will shift sideways without warning, when the mouse has moved only slightly, and disappear. Sometimes there is an arrow in the lower righthand corner that allows retrieval of the lost screen, but not always. This causes particular problems when my son is doing schoolwork online -- sometimes the answers he had put down to questions will be gone when we retrieve the screen, or answers to matching-type questions will be scrambled. Is there a way to stop the screen shifting sideways?

So I use Preview for taking notes in class. I just add text boxes on top of the slides and save it afterwards. It usually works great. But the last few PDFs, even though I type all the text correctly and save it before I close, I will reopen the PDF document later to find that every text box throughout the document has been turned sideways! It's really annoying to have to go back and individually turn the boxes right side up (if I just enlarge the textbox a little, the words align correctly). I'm using a MacBook Pro (pretty new) with Lion OS.

Since installing Snow Leopard everything appearing on my screen is widened to the sides, all photos are deformed, even the letters I use are wider. The suncircle indicating the computer is working, is oval formed, etc. It all happened since I upgrade Mac Os X Leopard to snow leopard. Who knows how to restore it to normal size?

It did have a kernel panic but I think that was due to me plugging in a external hard drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated as was about to sell the mac as I bought it for fun and it is simply a money drain now!

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy setup is a 27" C2D iMac, 4GB RAM, running SL, all latest updates. iTunes is latest version with the library hosted on an external Drobo connected via FW800. I have no iPods plugged in just now and have disabled automatic sync with my ATV so I know there shouldn't be any tasks running within iTunes itself.
This morning I get a message about a corrupt iTunes library. I restored the file from a backup and after a long time referencing the corresponding .xml file, iTunes loaded up. 95% of the library was fine, but for some reason, it had lost some files, leaving me with exclamation marks scattered around the place. If I manually locate the file, that solves the problem, so while its a pain, I can sort it out, or I guess the new equivalent of consolidate library should clear it up.
Anyway, for the last few hours, iTunes is very slow. Rest of the machine is fine and its not hogging resources according to activity monitor, but its clearly doing something which is making it appear to be un-responding. When I switch to it, it takes a while to appear, then the spinning beach ball, then maybe 30 seconds to a minute later, it becomes active for a short time before becoming unresponsive again.
I'd like to send a colleague a keynote on a DVD. I thought it would be cool to see me at the same time in a small frame presenting the keynote live, like the feature in ichat theater. I looked in iMovie and in Keynote but didn't find anything.
