Since installing Snow Leopard everything appearing on my screen is widened to the sides, all photos are deformed, even the letters I use are wider. The suncircle indicating the computer is working, is oval formed, etc. It all happened since I upgrade Mac Os X Leopard to snow leopard. Who knows how to restore it to normal size?

Recently I noticed icons of mp3 files are no longer as used to be in finder. Previously I had a dark music note icon and when i hover my mouse there was a play button. Now I only see itunes icon in mp3 files. "Show Icon Preview" option is enabled, and i can preview image and pdf files in finder. But something happened to the mp3 files. get back the good old icon preview for mp3 files.

Since I upgraded to Snow Leopard, I've been noticing that Preview does not display images. A box will open and the background will be there, but no picture. I can scan images, and the automatic preview image that pops up is blank. I can download images from the internet, and they will appear as icons on my desktop, but when I double click them I get an appropriately sized blank Preview box. I can save the image to a thumb drive and put it on my girlfriend's computer (we run identical iMacs, for reference), and it will appear on her computer, but she is using the Adobe suite.

We have an HP Photosmart Premium C410.We using both Safari 5.1.2 and Firefox 10.0.We use a network connection from the printer to our MiniMac.We have been unable to get images (photo's) to print with the rest of the web page which is text (the text portion does print.This does not happen on all, but does happen on most web sites we go to.In order to get the image (or photo) to print, we have right click on it and copy it seperatly onto a WP blank.This is a big pain.We would like to be able to get the picture/image to copy/print with the rest of the web page.Would anyone know what might need to be addressed to get this to work properly.

Ever since installing Snow Leopard, whenever I create a new image in Photoshop and save it to a file, and then I go into that file to look for it, it is missing. The only way I can find the file is if I enter the name of the image in the finder window and do a search - then it says that the image is in the image folder - where I put it - but when I go there, it isn't there. So the only way to find and then open that newly created image, is to remember what I called it, and then enter it's name in the finder serach window. The other problem that I notice with Snow Leopard is that the newly created icon images in finder are all blurry. The blurriness seems to be random. Some are, some are not.

I've been having this problem for a while now and its only with images and videos when i try to open any picture or video this msg comes up "The file couldn’t be opened because there is no such file" and i can only open it if i copied the file from my hard drive to my computer.when i open the info for the same picture (one in on the hard drive and one my computer) the one on the hard drive has nothing under "more info" while the one on my computer has a lot of details under "more info" .Â

I put together a video of photos on imovie. I took it to iDVD and made a disc image. (My mac mini does not have a DVD drive, so I have to transfer the image to the PC and burn it to DVD there.) Once the final product is on DVD, I stick it in the DVD player... and.... the video is STRETCHED! (It's a widescreen TV...) The DVD looks good when played on a computer, but on our TV it looks stretched.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince getting a new iMac with Lion, I have noticed that frequently the screen will shift sideways without warning, when the mouse has moved only slightly, and disappear. Sometimes there is an arrow in the lower righthand corner that allows retrieval of the lost screen, but not always. This causes particular problems when my son is doing schoolwork online -- sometimes the answers he had put down to questions will be gone when we retrieve the screen, or answers to matching-type questions will be scrambled. Is there a way to stop the screen shifting sideways?

So I use Preview for taking notes in class. I just add text boxes on top of the slides and save it afterwards. It usually works great. But the last few PDFs, even though I type all the text correctly and save it before I close, I will reopen the PDF document later to find that every text box throughout the document has been turned sideways! It's really annoying to have to go back and individually turn the boxes right side up (if I just enlarge the textbox a little, the words align correctly). I'm using a MacBook Pro (pretty new) with Lion OS.

View 9 Replies View RelatedOne of the things that irks me about Mac OS X is how, if you have a folder of images that you do not wish to be included in your iPhoto library, you have to manually change the icon size so as to gain bigger icon previews. On Windows XP, if a folder contains lots or mostly photos, Windows will recognise this and the folder view will change automatically to Thumbnail view, negating any need to manually manage icon size. Does Leopard offer this behavior at all?

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo there I was with my dock on the right-hand side in 2D mode, and having now switched it to the bottom I realise I switched in some new dock image files back when Leopard came out, and now I've got a funky multicoloured spectrum dock.
All well and good, but I don't think I have any of the original dock image files anywhere. Short of reinstalling Leopard from scratch, is there any way (or utility) to get my dock back to the default Leopard version?
