I just purchased a new Mac Book Pro, which has Itunes already downloaded on it.How do I register the Itunes, so that it recognizes the songs in my library that I have previouslypurchaed via the Itunes store? Or do I have to transfer everything from my old toshiba laptop via flash drive?

I've tried to update iTunes on my mac book from v8 to v10? When opening iTunes I get a msg "Quicktime v7.5.5 needed" (I currently have v7.4.1). I've used the Software updater & downloaded from the apple site, both look like being successful but are unsuccessful. I am still unable to open itunes. What else can I do? I have macbook with os 10.5.8, not sure if its a snow leopard, leopard or tiger.

Ok so I got my new MBA which I'm typing on right now and I love it (I need to update my sig...). I got my most important data over, but all I need are my address book contacts and iTunes playlists and song/movie/tv show ratings.
I copied my contacts from Application Support under Libraries. They are under Address Book in the folders "Metadata" and "Images". All the things in Metadata seem to be vCards, but when I double click one to open it, it just opens Address Book and nothing happens.
Also, when I transferred my iTunes stuff over, everything's perfect except I'm missing all my song and album ratings (488 albums and 4226 songs, all hand-rated). I'm also missing my playlists which are VERY important.
I have a backup of my whole hard drive from my MBP so I should be able to access these files, but does anyone know how or where? I copied over my whole music folder in Finder and I'm still missing my playlists and ratings
Several fonts in my font book changed from a book file to a .doc at random, and now are not openable. How can I change them back, or at least get them to work?! This is for a business graphic arts networked system so an answer as soon as possible would be awesome.

I plan on publishing it to Amazon using Createspace and later releasing an e-book version ( not worrying about that right now ). Now one of the problems I am having is converting the some 200 individual poems that are in RTF format into a PDF file that is 5x8 in size at 300 dpi. I can't find an easy way to do this. Anyone have any suggestions? I created the cover in photoshop CS5 which was easy enough but am I going to have to copy and paste each one into photoshop and have to adjust the text etc? if so thats going to be a huge pain. Does anyone have any experience with Createspace or selling books on Amazon? Also how do you get your book noticed? Also any other tips on publishing online would be great. Again this is not my book i am just helping publish it and of course I have full permission to do so.

I have ordered a MBP retina few days ago. Since it is such a perfect laptop, I don't think there are necessary accessoies for MBP like a case or mice etc. However, I still want to figure it out.
