Oct 31, 2009I have a lot of CD's that are compilations made in my friend's iTunes, but for some reason my ITunes is not reading any of the track info. My buddy says this is a very rare event for him and no suggestions as why I am not getting the track info. I've already tried unchecking the "search the internet for info" option.

Jun 24, 2012I have a Mac Mini running 10.5.8 and the latest version of iTunes, 10.6.3. I used to be able to burn music discs at maximum speed with no problem. Lately when I burn a disc, my CD player won't read it. (But the Mac Mini will recognize it as a music disc.) Over the years, I have taken many suggestions to improve the stability of burns. "Only use Verbatim discs," someone said. OK. And yes, I am using CD-Rs, not CD-RWs. "Slow down the burn speed," someone said. Yep. That worked for awhile. But now it's not working.

I insert the disc, iTunes reads and displays the tracks on the disc and starts spinning the disc (i.e. I can hear it). The iTunes window shows and initial progress on the first track and then gives me an error message saying it can't read or write to the disc ...

Oct 1, 2010My Daughter was given an i-tunes voucher and set up an account on i-tunes and then purchased songs using the voucher. the trouble is, we had a single account that we used for purchasing songs so that we could all download the purchased songs. Now she has synced her i-phone against her new account but i'd simply like to bring the new songs she purchased back into the main library and keep it that way.

The space is very limited on the work computers otherwise I would have kept it on there. Mar 6, 2012Had an issue with my Macbook Pro recently in that it wouldn't start up. A friend got it sorted but when I booted up had to put all my details in and instal all new updates. I didn't lose any of my data from my machine it had all been moved to a Previous Systems folder on the hard drive. No problem, imported everything back to the current folder. Anyway as soon as I tried to watch anything that had been bought through the iTunes store wouldn't work. The screen opens and the timer ticks away like it's playing but no sound and just a grey box.

You should transfer these items to your iTunes library before updating this iPhone. Are you sure you want to continue?"
I don't understand this message. I thought that if I bought a song or an app from my iPhone it would be brought to iTunes on my MacBook when I did a synch, or direclty from the store. How would I identify what items the message is referring to, and how would I add them to my library?

May 8, 2012I just purchased an album from the iTunes store and it downloaded the whole album except one song, which it tells me it can't download because the file is corrupted. It tells me to re-download by pressing "Check Available Downloads", which if done many times and it doesn't work! It just keeps telling me the same thing over and over. I think the error is -100000.
