View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to migrate my Parallels VM to VirtualBox. However, VB doesn't read Parallels VMs. I wanted to use the VMware converter, but the EULA says that it is only for use in migrating VMs for use in VMware software.
So, besides VMware converter, are there any other free tools that will let me convert my Parallels machine for use in VirtualBox? I am running Mac OS X 10.5.8.
I noticed a posting over on notebookreview.com that ViewGuard was giving away free ViewGuard Anti-Glare Screen Protectors for 13.3" Widescreen Unibody MacBooks. The catch is you have to pay shipping and the iSight camera hole is slight off-center.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm a Windows user, recently forced to use the Mac because of work. I bought a Mac mini.
Anywhoo, very basic question - do Mac users generally use anti-virus software?
I used Mac through most of the 90s (again, because of my job) and my workplace didn't use it then. I've also been using Linux for the past 10 years and have never used anti-virus software on it either, and never had any problems.
On Windows I use K7 Antivirus.
Does anyone know anything about Prey Project? Does anyone use it for anti-theft protection?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a RAR archiver (don't ask why... because I used it a lot on my Windows machine) in order to create split RAR-archives. But there is no good RAR programme for the Macs! Yesterday I found RARMe and it has been working very well... Today it doesn't want to create archives anymore. I switched to Rarify, which is a very simple programme but it does what it has to do. The problem is that it is too simple and I still need some options... Could you tell me how YOU solve this problem of not having a good RAR-tool on OSX? Which programme is the best?

It does not matter what license it has. If it's a good app, I don't mind shelling out some $$$ for it.
is there such a tool for OSX, preferably with a GUI ?

I checked my router logs and I seem to be getting several accesses to my macbook IP from several different external IPs on the same port 30124.
It is making me think I may have some spyware or something.
I am looking for a website authoring/publishing tool for Mac OS. I am by no means a web designer, I have created sites before using front page and they worked great and stuff. I also created a site using iWeb but that will not work for what I need to do. I was tasked with redesigning our intranet page so basically I just need a recommendation of a software that would help me do so. Nothing super advanced just something that would make a nice user friendly site.
