I'm looking for an image viewer that moves to the next or maybe a random image ina folder after x amount of seconds or minutes.. I found Sequential, which seems to do exactly what I want and it even has a timer but it only goes up to 90 seconds.. I would need to be able to put in the number of minutes/seconds myself instead of being limited to a value the app would give me.
View 2 RepliesIs this normal? I've tried changing the number of cores to use at startup as 2 and its a second faster....a second! Anyway, is it normal for it to take 1 minute 45 to start up? I didn't seem to take that long before but its suddenly started doing it.
EDIT: Just to point out, its the 2.53ghz, 4gb macbook pro with 250gb HDD

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen a user copies an image from a browser into PowerPoint 2011 he gets text of a link back to the image, not the image itself. But if he copies from a browser into Word he gets the image, and can then copy the image from Word to PowerPoint. Same results with both Firefox and Safari. Behavior is new so I assume it relates to recent software updates but user does not recall accepting any.

I've currently got a 3rd party WiFi network in my house and I've set the AirPort Express to join the network to act as an ethernet bridge. My VOIP phone connects straight to ethernet so that's what I have connected currently to the ethernet port on the AirPort Express.
Now it all seemed to work fine, but when I actually use the VOIP phone the connection seems to go dead for around 4 seconds on a regular routine of about every 10 minutes. I'm not getting disconnected or anything but it just goes silent. I noticed that whenever the connection does this the Airport Express switches from solid green to flashing amber for the dead period then back to green again.
Also, any idea how I can access the Airport express now that it's joined to my other network? Airport Utility can't find it since I've done that.
When I am using Google image search in Safari, my MacBook freezes for about 20-30 seconds before it shows the results. It just shows me grey boxes in the beginning and loads for a long time. I had the same issue with my old MBPro, but also with my beand-new one.

I can't see any images when do an image search in google, yahoo etc. All I see is blank thumbnails! I'm using firefox, but its the same on safari too. I've tried playing around with the settings in preference but I've had no luck. I'm using an iMac with leopard which I just updated to snow leopard 3 weeks ago, I'm not sure if that is the cause or not. also google map doesn't display the image of the map. I've checked the box "Load images automatically" in content.

I just purchased a used mac, and when i am in safari, using facebook; when I click to view an image, then go to unclick it (which would normally take you back to facebook) my browser goes back to my homepage. Please help, I have a warranty throught a private company but really hope this is an easy fix seeing as i JUST got this computer!

I am using a Mac Mini with a Realtek USB wireless dongle to connect to the internet. The software and drivers appear connected perfectly and i see the wireless utility and I can access my wireless network, which says signal strength 100%. I connect to it and it accepts the wireless key. Says connected. Then after a few seconds the connection is lost and it says 'Disconnected'. A few seconds later it connects then disconnects and this continues indefinitely but Safari never allows me to access any webpages.

All right, so the problem started when I installed Growl for Mail.app.
I installed it, launched Mail, got a beach ball hurling towards me, then it quit.
That is the main reason I think it has something to do with Growl.
So I guess my question is, what should I do? Right now the only thing I know to do is "uninstall" it. By the way, does anyone know the files to delete if I want to "uninstall" it?
After it bounces in the dock, It takes an additional 30 seconds for the window to open. I haven't done any updates or added any add-ons in the past few weeks, but this just started about a week ago.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWith Handbrake (I'm running a nightly beta build, but it's proven to be stable so I doubt it's the problem) the audio of DVD quality videos is severely (several seconds) out of sync. With HD TV shows under my own custom iPad preset it encodes beautifully, but if it's simply SD the audio is off in both normal profile, universal and AppleTV. The file itself is fine as I've tested, but it never encodes the video properly.

I took a video on my iPhone 4, uploaded it to my computer, and imported it into iMovie so I can edit the sound. At a few points throughout the one minute clip, my voice is overbearingly loud since I'm holding the phone nearest to me... and I'd like to adjust the sound (I guess simply decrease the volume?) at these few points where my voice overpowers the rest of the video... so as to make it less awkward for myself, really... before I share the video with any of my friends and family. How would I go about this to just edit the volumes of a few short segments?

i have already had to quit it 3 times today because it just wouldn't load web pages. i'm typing this in Opera now...
i can open web pages fine when i freshly open Safari, but then if i leave it for about 10 minutes, then come back and want to use it again, it's useless, and so far i haven't been able to access anything if i leave Safari open for more than 10 minutes.
i've just got the Security Update 2003-12-05 which is supposed to fix some Safari stuff... but this problem hasn't really started until yesterday.
Safari suddenly won't launch on my 10.5.8 system on my Powermac G5. The dock icon bounces for a few seconds then gives up. I haven't installed any new software recently.I've tried deleting all caches, preferences and plugins, repaired permissions, etc. It doesn't work when logged in on my spare account either.

how to not have the disc image appear on my desktop when I open applications that I downloaded. For example I downloaded wondershare dvd ripper and everytime I open it the disc image shows up on my desktop and I cant eject it without quitting the application. This is now happening with every application I open and it never happened before.
