I bought more than 100 films then I have new Ipod classics and plug my IPod Classics in my hp laptop which said transfer and don't transfer then I click don't transfer and and it sync and dont know how alll the films I bought was dissapeared. how can I get my films back ?

All my media works well (songs, podcasts, new films), but my collection of old films which I ripped, don't seem to produce any sound. I ripped 2 new films, which produce sound so I am confused why the older films will not. Just installed the new iTunes update this morning.

I've just bought Apple TV and seeing the way navigation works I've tried to change the genre in itunes to categorize my films. I can change the genre on some, but most of them I can't - the function is greyed out when I go to 'Get Info'.

I'm have iTunes 10.6.1 and have just downloaded two HD movies from iTunes. They downloaded fine but when I went to play movies I get the following message "This movie requires QuickTime, which is not supported by this version of iTunes"! I can play the movie via QuickTime but not via iTunes. I am also unable to sync the movie to my iPad as it states during the sync that "this movie will not play on your iPad".

I have 2 films which are each their own video TS file. When using toast to burn a dvd, I can only drag one of the video TS files. Each video TS file is a full length movie, but what I want from each movie is one short film which is part of the extras. So I want 2 short films on one DVD. View 3 Replies View RelatedMy DVD player software no longer functions on my Powerbook G3 Lombard (Bronze). I had a boot sector problem on my Powerbook and needed to do a wipe and reinstall. I have MacOS X 10.3 and MacOS 9.2.2 on my machine. I am aware that you can't use the 10.3 DVD player and so reinstalled 9.2.2 first. Unfortunately, I cannot find my original Powerbook system disc, so installed 9.2.2 from a G4 system disc I have. Now, the DVD player will not play DVD-Video discs in OS9.
This is a crucial function for me, as I like to watch films on it when I travel on the train. I need to find some software to reinstall from, or fix the hardware incompatibility in some other way (a patch or something). My hardware is: Macintosh Powerbook G3 "Lombard" (Bronze) 400MHz, 256MB RAM, 6GB HD, DVD-ROM. Nobody seems to have the DVD player program (1.3). They say you need 9.1 discs etcetera. I even tried one link that said download DVD player version 1.2 and a tome reader, but the tome reader download site wasn't functioning.
The DVD won't work either with DVD-films, Application DVD or music CD. I have tried a lens cleaner disc but it will not work. The disks is "spinning around" for a while and then they ejects. What to to? Reisnstall Mac OS?

i have a lovely imac g5 but when i switched on 90% of my files in itunes were 'unable to find...' when i looked for them in finder i couldnt find them either. i do not use 'itunes copy to library' but i have my files located internally and havent moved anything, ive tried repair disk and still no avail. is it itunes or something worse that has done this? im pretty miffed as you could imagine any solutions/ explanations?

I have had very bad luck with Time Machine as well and realised not long ago that for 4 years it has only been backing up 'Desktop' and not the whole computer. I backed up all my photos and docs on various DVD's and CD's once I realised but I cant see that I backed up my Itunes library. View 1 Replies View RelatedI was adding some music to iTunes downloaded through acquisition x, and my external HD (Seagate 320 GB) all of a sudden has no music files anywhere on it. The available space is still the same as when i had 40 gigs of music on it, and iTunes says on opening: "The file "iTunes Library" does not appear to be a valid iTunes Library file. iTunes has created a new iTunes Library and renamed this file to "iTunes Library (Damaged)."
I can't find any .xml or .itl or a (damaged) library file ANYWHERE. THEN the next dialog display says the iTunes application could not be opened, the required file is in use.
So used an applescript to unhide invisible files and folders, and the .Trash is empty, Finder's trash is empty, searched all OVER for any trace of the .mp3 files in my library, but they have disappeared. I also can't unmount or eject, verify or repair my External because it is "in use." The only process running i can see is finder, though I'm not sure.
A few days ago I tried changing the name of the middle file in the top row (Currently "iTunes Lib", which is what I think it was originally). I opened iTunes last night and found that none of my music was there. Obviously iTunes is looking for THAT folder, but the name is different.
What can I do to set this right? If I knew the original name of the file, I would try that.
So basically I was using itunes and wanted to Maximise by clicking the top right arrows.. However I double-clicked by mistake and now my toolbar is gone. The options to close, minimise, maximise on the top left are also gone.
