I spent a lot of time selecting cuts to put in my iTunes Store Wish List (had to listen to the auditions to find the right versions, etc.). Now when I go to my wish list, it says it's empty. Is there a time limit or something? I filled out the Wish List a few weeks ago.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was reviewing audio books on my wish list and the list just became empty. I have stopped and restarted iTunes and I have manually re-logged into my apple account but the list keeps coming up empty. I have tried both the shortcut on the top right and from the drop down on the top left but nothing. Is this a temporary issue with Apple..I'm on a Mac running OS10.9.4 and iTunes 11.3.1Â

I have a batch of HD video downloads in my iTunes Store queue that I can't delete. Before it was annoying, having to purchase both the regular video and HD video, then delete the unwanted HD download from my queue list, but now it's a problem. I can't empty the unwanted HD downloads, and for me to download them all will tie up my connection for a week or more.
I do not have the bandwidth
I'm running Lion on an 27" iMac (first i7 iteration), and have a folder on an external HDD that contains a couple of hundred subfolders.Â
However - when viewing them in Finder, only the first hundred or so display.Â
The others are there - searching the disc finds the folders and their contents and, once, the contents are located, they'll display in the expanded view.Â
I copied the offending folder across to the Mac's main HD, but this behaviour came across with it. This, by the way, was happening on Snow Leopard too before I upgraded to Lion.Â

For some reason, when my son was trying to load a from a CD to the applications folder all the applications suddenly disappeared. If you click on itunes or word you get an error notice about a corrupt file. The documents appear to be there.What should we do? We are running OS 10.4.11 on an iMac.

I use a PHP script that records the number of clicks on a weblink I want to monitor. Every so often I want to zero (or empty) a number of files (all are .dat files) to start the counting afresh. Is there a way to automate this using maybe Automator or AppleScript?

I've come to my wit's end now - I've got about 10K plus of photos in my folder which I have nicely organized and grouped with different labels and comments. I would like to now convert the list of files with all attributes into a document. I've tried the copy and paste tricks with Textedit as well as several folder actions offered in Automator -to no avail as all I've got is just a list with file names which is more or less useless to me. It seems that during the process only the files names are copied but not other infos like label, size etc. Is there something I have missed here? I would be extremely grateful if someone could throw some light here.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my Safari to the latest version, 5.1.7 and had to install a new version of ClicktoFlash. This plugin installed correctly and now flash is blocked. However, when I go into Safari's preferences, there are NO extensions of any kind. As a result, I have no way to control ClicktoFlash.Â
Why is my extension list empty in Safari's preferences? Â

I've been using Adium for the past month or so for IM, and as of the past couple of days, no matter what I do, I can not make the contact list visible. I've tried deactivating and reactivating it via the Window menu, I've tried changing the settings on when it's supposed to appear, and I've even tried reinstalling the application once, but nothing is working. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this, or should I just stick with iChat for now?

I have been using the 'Reading List' as a default Bookmark list as I find it more accessible than the old Bookmark system in Safari. After recently updating Safari my reading list has developed a bug. Firstly my entire list had disappeared (most annoying and inconvenient as I began rely on the list for my continuing study of important references in relation to my business) but I strangely I do get a multiple entry of my last used item. In fact the last time I opened up the list I had about ten duplications of the same bookmark. A recent example is below. My other references (which incidentally, courtesy of iCloud appear on my iPhone bookmarks) have disappeared.

The Graphite 733mhz PM G4 has only 3 ram slots. But the "fourth" one shows up on my system as "empty". Does this mean that it may be physically possible to put another ram slot in there? I'm confused by the limitation -- though I heard that Mac OS9 could only recognize up to 1.5gbs of ram.

I drag (or Command-Delete) an item to the trash and a window pops up saying, 'Are you sure you want to delete "x"? This item will be deleted immediately. You can't undo this action.
I've trawled the interweb but to no alas, and being a Mac user for over 10 years have never seen this before.
So I had my iMac set up with two partitions.
1 - OS disk 160GB
2 - Other 500GB
Please note the 'Other' partition was empty.
I either didn't research that well, or read the instructions I found by googling. But I had tried to merge the two partitions.I clicked on the main drive (WD 640GB) in disk utility - Clicked on the partition tab - the chose 'other' and clicked the minus sign... Something went wrong from here.
Now Disk Utility shows the main drive (WD 640GB) as 640GB.But I click on OSX - It still only shows 16GB
I have lost the other 500GB. Im not sure how to get it back..
I created a folder in my favourites bar and on my Dock next to my download folder, which had a combination of picture and word documents. I noticed this morning the folder is now just a ? I cannot locate any of my files anywhere and I know i didnt delete the folder.

DVDs and Cds burned by my husband's iMac are showing up as empty and unburned on my MBP (model 3,1). The disk is seen, but accompanied by a burn icon, and I am offered the option to burn it but told there is no content so burning it will produce an empty disk. I saw these burned and everything seemed to be normal. The disks were given titles, which showed up on his machine, but on my MBP they are "Untitled".

there's an unknown computer showing up on my shared list.I my get my internet through a wireless router, a BT homehub, and you need a password to get onto the internet.. there are 3 computers in my house connected to that router and they dont even show up under my "shared" list! does this sound like my network is being hacked... and if so how do i protect it (and sorry to say im probably the least technical person when it comes to computers to the simplest explanation would be the best )

All my data is accessible but I am concerned that it may get hidden. When I back up to my external HD it transfers all of my data but again I cant see me as a user. Could be coincidental but my logic board was replaced last week and i think it happened then.

I created several calendars on my MacBook and placed them on iCloud. I can view the events on my iPad and MacBook, but when I logged onto icloud, that calendar is empty for June and July with only one event for August. Do I have to add these calendars again to the iCloud??

Updated my late 2007 iMac to 10.6.2 and after that every time I pop in a DVD or CD into the optical drive it spins up and then I get a dialog box that tells me that I have put in an empty disc and the question what I want to do.
