View 1 Replies View Relatedi just updated safari 2 days ago on my snow leopard and everything worked well, but since today, i cant mark any text blue and i cant scroll with the scrollbar.well, i normaly scroll with two fingers on the trackpad, but i sometimes use the scrollbar and it doesnt work anymore.so..cant mark any text and cant use the scrollbar anymore. and that just happens in safari.havnt backuped anything and i wont install snow leopard again.

I just received my MBA back from having the hard disk replaced and the "eyeglasses" style bookmark icon has disappeared. It was my favorite. Has it been discontinued? It's not on the Safari/View/Custom Toolbar picture.

I turned off my macbook pro last night, then when I went to turn it on this morning, I got a flashing folder with a question mark. So I ran lion internet recovery. Disk utility came up and so I tried to repair the disk and reinstall lion osx, the problem is my mac HD isn't showing up, so I couldn't run either. I haven't turned off my mac in a few weeks, I usually just put it to sleep at night or let it go idle. How to back-up my files.

I forced rebooted my computer after my windows froze and after I turned it back on my mighty mouse didn't connect. So I went on into my Mac OSX and for some reason the icon in the System preference disappeared and I no longer saw the bluetooth icon. I went manually to applications and checked and there was only Bluetooth File Exchange.

Right clicked the desktop icon for the CD that was in the drive, chose eject.
The icon disappeared along with the other new icons the program had created and the CD never came out.
After using Mackeeper clean up, duplicate search, maintenance my iPHOTO file on the dock now shows a "?" mark .....

I dropped my MacBook from a fairly low height the other day. Now when it boots up, the Flashing Folder-? Icon pops up. bummer. I've read around and tried everything I can find to try. I've read over posts such as: [URL]. Nothing works. My only problem is that I can't get it to boot the DVD startup disk at all. Everything I try ends with the disk being kicked out of the drive, or spinning for a while and then doing nothing.

1 - OS disk 160GB
2 - Other 500GB
Please note the 'Other' partition was empty.
I either didn't research that well, or read the instructions I found by googling. But I had tried to merge the two partitions.I clicked on the main drive (WD 640GB) in disk utility - Clicked on the partition tab - the chose 'other' and clicked the minus sign... Something went wrong from here.
Now Disk Utility shows the main drive (WD 640GB) as 640GB.But I click on OSX - It still only shows 16GB
I have lost the other 500GB. Im not sure how to get it back..
I created a folder in my favourites bar and on my Dock next to my download folder, which had a combination of picture and word documents. I noticed this morning the folder is now just a ? I cannot locate any of my files anywhere and I know i didnt delete the folder.
