I opened an old document in word for mac and the pages are side by side. I cannot figure out how to go back to single page view. It seems like there should be a simple step.

I want to print out a single letter on one page for a banner I am making for my daughters school leavers party. However, if you make the font size too big it slips onto a second page and it will only fill half a page at its largest. For example, I want the letter 'S' to fill a whole A4 page then the letter 'T' then 'B' etc. I will then print then out and stick them on the banner.

I have a mac with os X. I have saved documents and photos on my computer and am now not able to open them. I get a message that tells To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File > Get Info. I do that and it is not locked.

I have been having crippling WiFi problems were I am forced to reload webpages 20-30 times before the page loads fully. I have tried many things and even upgraded the RAM to 8gb, and I still have the same problem. I have also tried resseting the WiFi, router, and iMac and it seems my problem is more complicated than that. I have run a test too and I had no lost packets. The strange thing is after a webpage not loading, if I refresh the page 20-30 times it finally loads!

I want to use an online back up service (in addition to using time machine on an external drive). I am only interested in backing up my pictures, songs, and emails. Copied files to an external hard drive and then deleted them from mac HD and empty the trash. I then went into disk utility and made a second petition for external hard drive and it deleted all the files on the external hard drive. Is there a way to recover the files that were on the extra the hard drive or from the Mac hard drive?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Mac has this weird disease that it returns to the first screen by itself after I've opened a couple of windows no mather what software or program I use.
It has nothing to do with my keyboard or mouse, because this problem occurs even when I've pulled everything out of the USB socket.
For example, when I start a movie with VLC Media player it starts over after 3 seconds and it goed to the start of the movie.
Anybody who knows the solution, I just can't find anything about this issue.
Newly upgraded to Lion, using most recent Firefox and Chrome. Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

Half of the time when I go back a page in safari it shows that page I was at. Then, it goes to a white screen and I have to refresh the page do do or see anything.

When I return back from a page most of the time install of the original page, Safari returns to a very old page.
This seems to happen on Ars Technica's site the most. Of course on that site I do a lot of jumping atround to view all of their articles.
I have cleaned Safari cache, also history and remove all web perveiw images plus restarting Safari and reboot all without having any effect.
