I can not print from my iMac because I have not been able to install my printer to it. i follow all the required steps and my iMac does not discover my lexmark printer which is already connected to my wifi. I already restarted the printer along with the iMac and still it does not discover it.Â

I'd like to swap usage, but neither device will "discover" the new device to swap, and obviously I don't want to disconnect the existing one first because I'd lose control. My Mac and HP wireless printer have stopped communicating. My Mac says the printer is not connected to the network but the printer says it is. I am running 10.9.4 on my Mac. They worked fine for 3 years then they just stopped. I have reset everything on the printer and gone through all the wireless checks on my Mac. The only thing I have seen is one screen said the address was wrong, but that does not make sense since they work in the same network.

I have attempted to load the driver for this printer using System Preferences/ Printers and faxes. When I select the + I find my psc 2400 printer listed when I select add I get the message: Some of the software for the printer is missing. You may have to reinstall the software to be able to successfully print. There is the option to continue. Selecting this button I get the message: The software for the printer was installed incorrectly. Please reinstall the software from the manufacturer. This printer was purchased when I had a Mac with a power PC chip and OS X version 10.4.1 which can not be loaded into the current computer. Is there a way to load the driver software that seems to be missing?

This comes after I click "Set Up" and tick Mail only. I don't have 2 step verification enabled for that account and I didn't change any account settings since adding it last time.Â
Also, I can still see the account (as well as other Google account that's currently not added to OS X) in Accounts.plist located in: ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailDataÂ

I've got 3 G5 iMacs, one with a USB printer attached. I can share the printer and add it on the other iMacs and print to it no problem, but when I restart them the printer is no longer in the list and I have to add it again.
This is becoming a pain, and with the old eMacs I had never had this problem. They are all on 10.4.11, am I doing something wrong?
