My daughter's camp musical was burned to DVD and I want to rip it to my iMac. It is NOT copyright protected. I tried to make a disk image with disk utility but I must have used it incorrectly because I can't figure out how to play it.

I have many dvd's I'd like to store on hdd on iMac for use quickly and if needed to burn to another dvd/jump drive for sharing.
I only see a .dmg file It would even be nice to put specific tracks from the dvd.

I have an Imac (late 2009) and I am connected to the internet through a provider and I have my own network which nobody else has the password to. I use WPA protection and it is a strong password. Nobody else uses my computer.
I use Kaspersky Internet Security and I started a quick scan and some how there are password protected archives that I have no access to.
Is there a program that'll allow me to copy and paste a password protected .pdf? I can open the file, just not copy and paste it. I have Snow Leopard and no Windows OS installed on my Macbook Pro.

Since I really do not want people to be able to rip it to their computer's I have denied these requests. However as the demand apparently grows and more people start asking I feel that I would really want to be able to share my music with them, securely. What I would like to do is burn a cd containing my music that people cant rip. I know there will always be some way of doing it, but fore the average computer user preventing mediaplayer/itunes from being able to rip the music will be enough to keep them from doing it.

I just got a copy of Toast Titanium 10 and want to back up my dvds. The first one i tried said that the disc is copy protected. How can i get around this or can I? Some free fonts that i have downloaded refuse to be saved as PDF's due to copy protection issues. When downloading new fonts I now look for info on this, but I have downloaded many before and some are annoyingly PDF resistant ! Can I disable all fonts that are copy protected in one go so they won't appear in the Font Toolbar? or alternatively, can I disable the copy protection segment of font? Fonts are for personal use but would like to print them off.

The Imac sees the external hard drive ( Identified as Logical Volume ) , I can see the files on the Blu Ray disk .. I recently purchased the LG BE08LU20 External Blu-ray Disc Rewriter. I installed Windows 7 (64-bit) through Boot Camp on my 27" iMac. When I try to play Blu-ray discs through the external drive on the Cyberlink PowerDVD software, it says that the software "is not able to play the protected content on [my] digital output device". Is there any way to fix this issue?

Backup is a breeze, no problem there.
Restore is where I got a little confused. I don't have the original Leopard Install disk which I'm pretty sure I need to restore.
BUT I what i need to know is if i could potentially just download a Leopard Install disk in the form of a .dmg file and burn it to a DVD and use that to restore?
I have the wireless N airport base station (not the dual band) and I also have an old airport express (B/G only). Is there any way I can set up my home wireless network so that the express handles all of the B/G traffic and the base stations handles all of the N traffic (thus not slowing down my N stuff with the G stuff). It all worked fine for a while but now if I want to listen to the video it will not automatically play when I just play the entire library or when i just play a playlist with it in the homemade video does not play as part of the list, video's from itunes do but simply not this one.
