ITunes For Mac :: Homemade Music Video Won't Play Automatically?
Jun 4, 2014
so a while ago my friend sent me a link to a video of her playing a piece on the piano that she composed and I downloaded it off youtube and uploaded it to Itunes to listen to as part of my soundtracks. It all worked fine for a while but now if I want to listen to the video it will not automatically play when I just play the entire library or when i just play a playlist with it in the homemade video does not play as part of the list, video's from itunes do but simply not this one.Â
...now I don't have the same functionality with iTunes. Basically, I can't use iTunes at all anymore as the interface for my music and videos. Once the external drive is mounted, I can navigate through it and play individual songs, but I can't use iTunes to do that. All my previous Playlists show up down the left side of iTunes, but there isn't any music in them.
I downloaded 2 songs yesterday, made a Playlist out of them, and because the path in the Advanced tab of the iTunes Preferences is correct, it automatically added the songs to the external hard drive. I synced my iPod and it was completely erased except for the 2 new songs. Is there a way to use iTunes to navigate my music like I used to when I stored the information on the internal hard drive but keep the information on the external drive? I have a Mac running Snow Leopard and the latest version of iTunes.
I had this hilarious idea to write a program for my schools computers. I want to make so that when people open it all it does is play the music video for "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. I want it so that it will not stop playing and you cant quit out of it. Does anyone have ideas on how to do this?
I have some old music that I bought under an old iTunes account and it asks me for my password to play the music. That account is no longer active, how do I list the music under my new account so I can play it?
Suddenly I'm unable to click on an album and have it play in its entirety; there is a shuffle option but I don't want to shuffle. Why won't it automatically play the next song in order? It seems to play only one song at a time.
I listen to and watch a lot of podcasts. Quite often, after I am done listening to a Audio Podcast I will watch a video podcast. Some times it gets stuck and won't play the video but plays audio fine. Anyone else have this problem?
How do I burn a DVD of. Movie I made? I have purchased iMovie. Do NOT have iDVD, cannot figure out how to get iDVD, am using Snow Leopard. Do I use iTunes? Does iMovie have the capability somewhere? I know my MacBook has the capability to burn.
Whenever I wanna play music on my iTunes, it stays at 0:00 ..... I've tried everything so far. I can't even go on youtube and hear the music. Yes, my volumes up, everything is plugged in, I went to system preferences and checked the sound, everythings fine. I re-installed iTunes, nothing happened... I can still buy songs and it goes on my iPod... The I have is an iMac G5 (tiger) and yes, I updated iTunes and the rest of my updates.
I found a spotlight search attribute of channel count which is whether a music track is stereo or mono. Is it possible to use this info in iTunes to add a column to automatically sort the music? Is there a hidden terminal command to add this option to the iTunes view options? I understand the difference between mono and stereo having worked with sound for many years.
I have a mac air version 10.9.3 running on mavericks and whenever I plug in my apple earphones, or any earphones with a mic and remote on the cable, itunes starts playing music without me touching anything. It plays music every time the contact plug of the earphones moves in the computer (like if I move the computer and the jack plug gets jiggled) and I don't know how to keep it from doing that. I tried quitting itunes but it didn't work.
after recent upgrades my iphone 3GS cannot play music shared by iTunes on my Mac. Both are connected to the same wifi network. Don't know (forgot to test) if this is 10.6 or 5.1 fault. When trying to connect to shared library I see only half of the grey circle and then stopped and in the result there is nothing in library.
I can't play any of the music I've downloaded. My computer wants an autorization (Which I do), says my computer is already authorized, and still won't let me play these songs. All of the CD's I've uploaded have had no problem.
Info: Mac OS X (10.6.8), 320GB Ministack, iPhone3g, 3rd gen Shuffle
When I try to play some episodes that previously worked (I havent played them for a year or so) they fail to open in Quicktime X (with perian 1.2 installed)
When I open the files in VLC they play as an mp3 would and I can hear tracks from my library that I recognise...
PS: my music and video libraries are on different physical disks and the videos are not in iTunes.
The one i would use is an episode of Robot Chicken, but I have at least 100 episodes doing this thing, although not all of my collection.
Bought music on itunes and now the songs will not play all the way through. What do I do ?I've tried playing the song on the computer and it does the same thing.
I bought some video and audio from itunes and would like to put them to my portable player, but I am failure, whether they have protection or format require?---- how can I convert or transfer those files?
I have a last gen macbook pro, how can I change a function key to play music from iTunes (like the new ones)? Preferable it would be f12 since I never use dashboard.
I have an iMac connected to speakers.. and then I have my Macbook. Im looking for a way to play music from iTunes or Pandora on my Macbook... and listen through the speakers connected to my iMac while I am roaming about the house with my Macbook. Is there any way to do this other than Airtunes, or using screen sharing? (Right now im just using screen sharing and controlling the iMac)
I've run into an odd problem where iTunes (v8.0.2.20 Windows Vista) will not add, play or do anything with audio files (mp3) that it has previously played in the past (same version of iTunes). It played it one day, then the album disappeared and will not allow it to be added again, it does how ever work perfectly in Quicktime player, Winamp, WMP and other players. When I use Add Folder to Library, I get a quick "Processing files" dialogue, then it disappears (Same if I drag the folder into the library itself), and when I try to play the files individually, nothing happens at all. I've tried everything short of reencoding the files, which I want to save as a last resort (So as to not lose audio quality) and Ripping the CD again isn't an option since I no longer have the original after my car was broken into.
I've recently bought my macbook pro. I can see my the music i have previously bought on my iPhone in iTunes but cloud symbol next to most music. When I try to play any of these or download new songs I get error message -45054. I have checked and have shared folder in Users which I understand is important for iTunes. I am running OSX 10.9.4.
Info: MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)
