I am running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3. A few months ago, I switched from Mobile Me to iCloud. Today I was having trouble with the account being "offline", so I went into Mail preferences and re-entered my password for icloud. Somehow, I now have Mobile Me (inactive) on my computer, but no icloud to be found. When I try to sign in to icloud, it tells me that I am already signed in and to change accounts, I need to delete my icloud account and sign in again
How do I find my password for my .mac account? I open up 'Mail' on my macbook and this comes up - The iCloud IMAP server [URL] rejected the password for user “************” where to find out what this password is.
how to set/change from primary iCloud account to second account on Mac? i have two account in iCloud. the primary account doesn't syncronizing to my other device coz in my other devices such as iPad, iPhone are using second account.

So I have a Samsung Synch A707 on Cingular (personal line) and I have a Blackberry Pearl 8100 on Tmobile (work line).
I have successfully tethered both of them via bluetooth on my Macbook.
However, it seems to be quite a pain to switch between the two.
Unless I am missing something, I have to actually walk through the configuration wizard for configuring/adding a bluetooth device. Granted, all the settings are there, but it still seems like this could be easier.
After I do that, then I open up 'internet connect' where I have created separate configs for each phone/provider.
I also tried to create a separate location in the 'Network' setting (in the system preferences), however, it seems to default to the phone I used last.
I have a new MacBook Pro 13'. I already configured Icloud and I can find on maps devices sucha as Ipads, Iphones and Mac´s, but something is happened with my own MacBook Pro, I cant locate it on the Maps, I only see the image of the MacBook Pro and the instruction for locked it or send a message. I did all troubleshooting explained on support web page (location activevated on security, etc) and the problem still remains.
I have setup my own mobile phone to be sync-ed with mac osx sync.
So all contacts of my mobile are stored to address book of osx, and vice versa.
I want to do it for another mobile phone.
But I do not want to have the contacts of the second phone to be synchronized with the same address book of osx, that I use for my primary mobile phone.
In past versions of iTunes, the account balance from gift cards was displayed next to your name near the top right hand corner. That is no longer there in iTunes 10 and I have searched though different panels looking for the balance, but am unable to find it. Anyone know where I can find the balance?
My middle son is off to college this week (in Japan) and will be taking with him a new MacBook Air. Naturally, he wants to also take his music and apps that he has purchased over the years, which now reside on my iMac (the family's media hub) along with music and apps for all the other members of the family.
But I can't find any way to sort the music and apps by account, which means he'll have to go through the entire iTunes libray one song and one app at a time. That'll take way too much time.
Is there a way to easily identify the music and apps associated with a single iTunes account from among many accounts?
I also face this same prospect when the youngest child goes off to college in 3 years, so if I can figure this out for the middle child, it will save considerable time when the youngest gets her own Mac.
I'm trying to delete an user account from my computer following the steps from apple.
[URL]
So at step 3 they say I have to click on the user account I want to delete. But I cannot see the user account in the list.
It is the only account with an password, but that person doesn't know the password even with the clues for it. Besides that I currently don't have the option to contact him.
When I migrate data from my PC it sets up a new user account with a password which I either never knew or have forgotten. How do I find the password or access the account?
I am getting the error: CANNOT GET MAIL.the user name or password for icloud is incorrect on both of my ipads, my iphone and my Macbook air. The username and password are the same that I have been using for years.
I am a former .me user that was migrated to the cloud. Unitl now, no issues with email. I cann actually sign on to mobile me but still cannot get to the email.
I am trying to access icloud on a second account on my imac but it gets rejected, while i can access icloud on the web. same with setting up mail while it is a legitimate existing account
I have a second MBP that I am syncing to iCloud and when after the initial calendar download from the iCloud server, it won't allow any changes or updates and gives me the following message: "iCal can't log in to you iCloud acount because your password may be incorrect. The server did not reognize..."
I can no longer log into my iCloud account. On both my home and work mini mac I get a dialog box that asks me to cancel or learn more about iCloud (a link to a website). I could use iCloud before.
I have fully upgraded Macbook, iMac & iPhone. I cannot activate my account because I have received none of the "verification emails" from Apple. My email address has not been verified despite Apple IDPassword working otherwise. I have tried everything for many hours - it would be good to receive some support particularly as the MacBook was only bought a few days ago.
We migrated MobileMe family pack accounts (1 master, 2 sub-accounts) to iCloud when iCloud became available. Everything seems to work ok except when a sub-account holder logs into iCloud on the web. The welcome screen shows the name of the master account holder instead of their name. Seems like a bug from the migration from MobileMe.
