I have fully upgraded Macbook, iMac & iPhone. I cannot activate my account because I have received none of the "verification emails" from Apple. My email address has not been verified despite Apple IDPassword working otherwise. I have tried everything for many hours - it would be good to receive some support particularly as the MacBook was only bought a few days ago.

New Mac Mini 2009, Apps, user and settings imported from a G4 Cube running Leopard perfectly. When I go to System Prefs - Accounts - Guest and I mark the checkbox "Allow Guests connect to this computer" System Prefs freezes with rainbow pizza. Then, no matter if I kill the application or not, the system is death. If I launch new apps from the dock, they bounce a four five times and then stop but the applications don't launch. Not even I can restart. When all the applications closes the system starts a loop of spinning clock wheel - blue screen - clock wheel - blue screen forever. This is the second new Mac that has the same exact problem after importing all my data, and it's 100% reproducible. I returned the first one to Apple cause I thought it was a hardware failure. What I have done?

Create a test user and try from there
Try from root user

Years ago I purchased a number of songs in my library using a corporate email address that is no longer valid and I do not remember the password. As I have no way to retrieve these songs and autyhorize them it because of the inactive account I cannot play the songs on my new computer without repurchasing them.

I'm unable to activate iCloud Drive on my MacBook running Yosemite 10.10.1. Some documents eventually show up in my iCloud Drive, but I'm never able to create new ones or download new ones created e.g. on the web or on my iphone. I disabled iCloud Drive for now, and whenever I try to re-enable it I get the following erorr in the Console:cloudd: SQL error: 'DELETE FROM CSChunkTable WHERE ct_iid = 596', (11) database disk image is malformed
which is repeated for 100s of ids. iCloud Drive works on a guest account and on other devices. I already tried signing out of iCloud on this Computer, but without success.
Is there any way to "repair" this malformed database disk image?

We migrated MobileMe family pack accounts (1 master, 2 sub-accounts) to iCloud when iCloud became available. Everything seems to work ok except when a sub-account holder logs into iCloud on the web. The welcome screen shows the name of the master account holder instead of their name. Seems like a bug from the migration from MobileMe.
