In past versions of iTunes, the account balance from gift cards was displayed next to your name near the top right hand corner. That is no longer there in iTunes 10 and I have searched though different panels looking for the balance, but am unable to find it. Anyone know where I can find the balance?

A while ago I purchased my macbook pro, and a few months later I added an additional 20 to the £65 free app store balance I received with my macbook, I've made a few purchases from this amount and when I added my 20 gift card my balance was shown to me to be around 80.I cannot find my balance ANYWHERE and I've been looking for ages could anyone help me find my itunes or app store balance, I don't want to pay by credit card when I should have £80 on my account somewhere!

They finally made the video call option available in this version but only in the corporate account. Here is my problem, I can connect normally to msn but only in my personal account not the corporate.
Once I try to connect to the corporate account, it acts like if it was not connected to the internet at all (even thou it is) and prompts me this message:
Sign in to Microsoft Messenger failed because the service is not available or you may not be connected to the Internet.
Okay, I set up Mail 3.5 to use IMAP to get messages from my gmail account. . The downloading went on for several minutes but there are only a few messages in my Inbox. Where are the rest? I don't want them on my computer. I want to access them and get rid of them.
At the bottom of the left hand panel it says USER NAME 905 which I take to mean 905 messages have arrived and are stored somewhere.
I usually use Firefox but thought I'd try out Safari. I click on a site and add it to my bookmarks but it doesn't show up under "Bookmarks" (like every other browser)

View 5 Replies View RelatedWe had a HDD fail on one of our office Mac laptops (a power pc G4). Apple repaired it and I restored all files etc from a backup. I was the administrator during the restore. Before I could get back, the user changed that account to a standard account and changed the name. Now there is no way to change the account back, because there is no admin to authenticate the change. Anything I can do? I am not an advanced computer/Mac person.

Everything in the setup process goes well until I hit the part when I must enter in my three-digit security code. I do so, then proceed. iTunes won't proceed because it appears I have not entered a valid security code. But the problem is, it is in fact valid: I've used it before for other things and it works fine. I've triple-checked; it's kinda hard to incorrectly type a three-digit number.

Today I was having trouble with the account being "offline", so I went into Mail preferences and re-entered my password for icloud. Somehow, I now have Mobile Me (inactive) on my computer, but no icloud to be found. When I try to sign in to icloud, it tells me that I am already signed in and to change accounts, I need to delete my icloud account and sign in again

I have Windows 7 Professional 64bit running through parallels 5 and it seems to be missing alot of drivers (wireless most importantly, but also audio etc). Where can I get these, is it the same as bootcamp drivers( are they on one of the disks that come with macs?).
My middle son is off to college this week (in Japan) and will be taking with him a new MacBook Air. Naturally, he wants to also take his music and apps that he has purchased over the years, which now reside on my iMac (the family's media hub) along with music and apps for all the other members of the family.
But I can't find any way to sort the music and apps by account, which means he'll have to go through the entire iTunes libray one song and one app at a time. That'll take way too much time.
Is there a way to easily identify the music and apps associated with a single iTunes account from among many accounts?
I also face this same prospect when the youngest child goes off to college in 3 years, so if I can figure this out for the middle child, it will save considerable time when the youngest gets her own Mac.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI normally leave my speaker output balanced right in the middle (under System Prefs>Sound>Output), however I have noticed that my audio output has been going out of balance by itself recently.
One speaker will sound louder than the other and sure enough, I'll go to the system prefs and the balance will be off. Nobody has else uses my machine and I know that I don't ever touch the audio output.
I have an iBook G4 running 10.4.11 connected to a pair of Brookstone speakers and subwoofer.
I continually notice the volume balance (L-R) on my mac ibookG4 keeps changing itself. I have been working on disabling the remote access to my machine, but have been unable access the sudoers. What do you suggest? Is a malicious program or a person changing the settings? How do I prevent this from occurring in the future? Thanks in advance for your help.

I have this weird issue with my PowerBook (2nd last revision) for quite a while; whenever I plug my iPod headphones in I only hear audio on either the left or the right side. When I then go to the audio panel the audio balance is also to the left or the right. When I center it the audio is fine. However, when I plug again the headphones in at a later stage the audio balance is again off to the left or the right.
Is anybody familiair with this issue?
