We migrated MobileMe family pack accounts (1 master, 2 sub-accounts) to iCloud when iCloud became available. Everything seems to work ok except when a sub-account holder logs into iCloud on the web. The welcome screen shows the name of the master account holder instead of their name. Seems like a bug from the migration from MobileMe.
View 1 RepliesI have a 14' macbook with os x 10.5 on it. Lately my master account hangs when you log in. Sometimes at the background screen, sometimes the finder loads but won't let you do anything, and it can hang anywhere in between.

I have had the same AppleID for many years, and it also my email address, so I would prefer not to share the password with all of my family. As far as I can tell, I can not change my AppleID associated with my iTunes account.I do want my daughter to be able to download apps or updates to existing apps even when she is not with me, but that doesn't seem possible without sharing passwords. It would be great if iTunes allowed "sub-accounts."

When I send multiple test emails to the iCloud account, it still only displays 1 unread message when there are more. Today I was having trouble with the account being "offline", so I went into Mail preferences and re-entered my password for icloud. Somehow, I now have Mobile Me (inactive) on my computer, but no icloud to be found. When I try to sign in to icloud, it tells me that I am already signed in and to change accounts, I need to delete my icloud account and sign in again

Next week I will be working 3 days in the office and 2 from my home in Leeds. I have 2 iMacs - one for each location. I was wondering whether there's a way of setting up iCloud with my work email address in order to sync my emails on both machines? I have to refer to my emails quite a lot in my job and it will be rather frustrating to have some one one machine and the rest on the other. Oue email server is POP only. Only for iTunes & everything else related to my Mac including this communityI've tried using MobileMe for a trial period and never subscribed to it after it was over.
