Hardware :: Can't Use HP LaserJet Printer Through A TP-Link Print Server To Print
Mar 1, 2010I'm using a MacBook, Mac OS 10.5.8. I've downloaded the driver for HP LaserJet m1319f MFP and the printer worked fine when I connect it directly to my MacBook (using USB connection).The problem is that printer is supposed to be connected to our office network users through a TP-Link Print Server (TL-PS110U). I've tried to use AppleTalk to connect to that print server but my MacBook only recognized that HP printer as a HP Fax machine and I can't print anything.

Apr 12, 2012I use Adobe CS4 regularly. I could print fine from all apps in CS4 until yesterday when I tried to print from InDesign CS4 and the app crashed. All other apps in CS4 print fine, as do all other apps. I've attempted to create a new print preset and also tried to edit the printer default, but InDesign crashes every time.
The only things I've done differently (or new) was to test a new antivirus app (Anti-Virus Software for Mac Protection | Kaspersky Lab United States) and also to download and try out the new Firefox 11. I also created a couple of pdf files in InDesign (as I've done dozens of times with no problems).

Applications :: Odd Printing Glitch When Trying To Print PDF Exported From InDesign
Aug 24, 2010Does anyone have any idea what might be going on in the attached image below? This is how a PDF file exported from InDesign is printing. It is not displaying like this at all on the screen. The frame around the photo is an EPS file layered on top of the photo. It views fine, and prints fine except for 2 photos.
All the photos print fine, except for 2 of them which have these odd triangles on them. The image is a scan of the printed file. Again, it does not appear when I view the PDF on screen, only when it's printed. If I remove the border/EPS, it will print fine. But I'd like to use the border, so I'd like to know what the problem is.
Intel Mac :: Print To A HP Laserjet 4100?
Jun 25, 2012This past week I have had serious problems trying to get my Imac to print to a HP Laserjet 4100. Parallel port to USB.Driver version 18.4 THe Imac is less than a year old and runs on Lion. I have had intermittent problems ongoing but this time it keeps showing messages -Not connected.
Usually when I go into preferences and click hold, on and off a couple of time or delete document and try again it would work OK but this time I have deleted printer, reset printing system etc numerous times and it still does not print.Sometimes when I unplug and re-plug in the USB connection it does not even recognise the printer is plugged in.Â
I have tried connecting the printer to a completely different computer and it appeard to work ok so it does not seem to be the cable at fault. Does anyone have a similar problem and more important does anyone have a solution.

Mar 23, 2012I just upgraded to Lion and pdfs won't print. It doesn't appear to be the printer driver, because the printer works with others apps. It's an HP Laserjet 1300. Yes, it's old, but still works, well, sometimes. just not with pdfs.

Oct 8, 2005I just got the HP LaserJet 1010 printer. I've installed it yesterday with the HP Foomatic/hpijs driver for CUPS from linuxprinting.org. I have it shared, so that I can use it from my Windows laptop - printing from my laptop works fine.
When I try to print from an application runing on my Mac Mini - nothing prints out, and the following can be found in /var/log/system.log

Jun 1, 2008I just installed 10.5.3 and now my HP Laserjet P10006 wont print anymore...when I look at the print window the file loads but then after a few seconds its stops.
I've tried printing from Acrobat and preview to so avail. I installed the new 1.0.5 HP driver and still no luck.
The printer is connected and works as I've sent test prints through no problem.
So is this a 10.5.3 problem that has arisen or is it something on my side I am overlooking?
OS X Mavericks :: Print Icon Tends To Stay On Dock After Print Job Is Done And Disorder Print Queue
Jun 28, 2014I have recently upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mavericks and am now having problem with my hp 4500 office jet printer. The print icon tends to stay on the dock after the print job is done and then mess up the print queue. Even worse if I forget to cancel it manually then when I put the computer on 'sleep' the printer starts up again and the whole job is rerun unless I get to cancel it quickly on the printer! Â
It does not always do this (the print icon disappearing as it should do), but for 90% of the time it does.Â

When I try and open a file from InDesign from the finder (double click in a folder), InDesign will freeze up and I have to do a Force Quit to close it. Oct 3, 2010My version of InDesign CS4, will always crash after sleeping, especially when I have files open from a server volume. I've turned off the sleep hard disks when possible option in sys prefs.

Oct 23, 2009Ever since our design studio upgraded to InDesign CS4, some of our machines are now VERY slow to open documents (it takes documents approx. 7�13 times longer to open). Also, just using InDesign seems much slower than CS3 (like dragging things, typing, etc.).
The funny thing is this problem only seems to affect our designers who have PowerPC G5 Macs � not the ones with Intel Macs. I realise CS4 will be optimised for Intel machines, but surely it shouldn't be this much slower on G5s?

I own Adobe Creative Suite 2cs premium with Acrobat professional 8
Adobe updater automatically updated Acrobat and since that happened, my InDesign and Illustrator is not working. When I launch Illustrator it just hangs, and when Iaunch InDesign it asks me to "Personalize my copy" but will not allow me to put my serial number in.
I found cpsid_53468 on the adobe website and downloaded a disk image, followed the directions and installed it in my root library folder, as they described. I have tried this many times, and my software is still not working.
I called the support line, and they tell me that this is not supported anymore.
If this is the case, why is Adobe automatically updating Acrobat 8?
I called them and they told me they are not supporting CS2 any longer.
So I am stuck with this mess.

Jun 19, 2012A colleague of mine has a Mac G5 with OS 10.5.8 and Adobe InDesign CS5 installed which has suddenly stopped working. On top of that she can't drag or drop items either. She didn't have this issue yesterday. She didn't install anything new or added any new hardware.
