Apr 28, 2010I tried out iGetter and Downloader as download managers. I then removed them both. However when I now click on a download click nothing happens. I suspect that there is some remnant of one or both which tries to call the program but can't find it.

Mar 29, 2009I recently uninstalled transmission the bitTorrent client. I did this because it was taking too long and was told uninstalling it and reinstalling it might help. When I went to reinstall it nothing happened. I clicked on the download button and the screen moved on to a plain white screen with the words transferring data at the bottom, the cursor had its little egg timer thing but it just sat there for ages. Nothing happened and after a few minutes I tried another client, same thing happened again. Or is it just me making a fool of myself? I use max OS X 10.4.11 and my ISP is bt.

Jul 29, 2009some time ago, I accidently deleted firefox off my desktop and have been unable to download it from the net since.It is an older ibook G4 I have,maybe this has something to do with it?But I did have firefox before so surely this is not the reason.What happenned first was I would download it,put into applications and drag below which seemed to work fine, until I clicked on it and it dissappeared?Could'nt figure it out..?
So I kept trying and trying and the same thing..Now when I go to download it,It saves as dmg?but fails to open saying it (failed to mount)?It doesn't even have the firefox symbol?
Does anyone know what is wrong and why can I not get firefox back on my desktop.I have another browser Opera which is fine, but I need firefox specificly for working on my website.If anyone might have any answers why this is not working I would really appreciate it.Its Mac os x version:10.3.9

I just installed safari 4 and it completely does not work. It will load a site and I cant do anything on it. Nothing clicks, I cant scroll, nothing. Its not frozen, I can move it around my desktop and go under the preferences, but I literally cant use it.

Mar 4, 2009Okay for FireFox or safari, I'm sorting through ALOT of digital pictures over the net and saving most of them, but rather then opening a page and click on the save image option is there an addon that will auto save all images, bmp, jpeg, tiff, png to a particular folder?

I know i download all the pictures if they're being displayed in some form, is my computer doing this already and saving them some place I don't know about?

When i did that it deleted safari, so i used firefox. Now when i go to firefox to search for safari to download it again, firefox freezes up and won't let me download safari. What should i do to get internet access again?

Feb 19, 2009my safari and firefox wouldnt start download some links automatically. for examples some megaupload links and some website like this one [URL]. when u click on 'UNSUPPORTED TETHERED REDSN0W - REDSN0W LITE' firefox or safari should start the download automatically, put mine wouldnt. i have to right click and choose 'save file as' to download the file. i have a friend, she's using the same spec macbook as me and she also uses the same wifi as me, when i gave her the megaupload link which i can't download and also the website [URL], she didnt have any problem downloading them.

Jul 5, 2012I have a mass amount of files to download listed on a Web page. When I click the link, the file downloads, but the link on my downloads page never changes colors to note that the link has been visited.
Is this a bug and is there a work around for my HTML page? Currently I'm using javascript to change link colors.

If I change this path to a path on the other drive which has space, is it going to mess up what I already have in my tunes library?
