I just bought my Macbook and I want to know what you guys would recommend for downloading free music? I know Macs cant get viruses, but I really don't want to put it in any danger.

I'm very happy with my 2010 MBP 15" i7 -- very slick little piece of kit!
However, there have been a few cases recently where I had to force a hard-shutdown of the laptop (holding the power button for 3 seconds). This is not because of the actual MBP per se, but because of some software that froze and wouldn't let me force-quit them.
Anyways, I'm wondering, since I had to hard-shutdown several times recently, if I should check my OS for any weird happenings? I always, always do Apple > Shutdown, but I've been forced to use the power button recently.
I want to try playing a game on my MBP. Does anybody know where I can download some for free/recommend popular games?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI connected my iPod nano to my MacBook Air, and opened iTunes to put the music I had just bought onto the iPod. Usually an icon appears on the main screen and on the right hand corner of my music list that says"Add to", so you can click that and drag music to your iPod download list. The screen on the iPod should have said "Do not disconnect charger" but nothing happened. The iPod only charged. This happened once before, and it randomly just started working. This time it won't work.

I tried to stream my music (use my old laptops as a wifi speaker station) for some time now, and I recently found Airfoil [URL] and it works GREAT!!! it even includes a video player which automaticly syncs the sound to the video(VERY usefull)
you only need The application, and another pc/mac, its really easy to set up, and you can not only stream iTunes music, but also any other sound on your mac!! I use it everyday, and I just wanted to share that, because i did not find any other solution!
