Apr 16, 2012When I add a signature to a reply email, the signature always generates at the very bottom of the email. Below all the previous quoted text. Is there a way to get the signature to automatically appear below my new message but above all the previous quoted text automatically?

Mar 23, 2012I want to use TrueCrypt to encrypt an external drive. I understand the new version of FileVault can do this but I prefer not to upgrade to Lion. I'd rather wait till Mountain Lion comes out later this year.
For those who have used both...Just wondering how TrueCrypt compares to FileVault in regards to encrypting an external drive. Also, I am trying to install or execute the PGP Signature to ensure that the TrueCrypt software that I am downloading from the TrueCrypt's Web site is authentic and has not been hacked.
How do I run or install it? I double-click on the PGP Signature file, a window pops up and says it cannot find an application to open it. I even tried removing the ".sig" from the end of the file name and it say it cannot open the disk image.
There are instructions on the TrueCrypt web site for Windows users but none for the Mac users that I can see.

I can change that on a new email but that will work only once; in the next email the signagture is again "sent from iCloud". Is it possible to create a new default signatute? Is it possible to create this new signature in color?

Dec 4, 2014I have followed all directions from the "help" menu. It is there under signatures but not linked to the email server that I use, nor will it allow me to add anything. In the email the pop up menu allows me to edit the signature, but not to ad it to the email.

May 15, 2012I am using Mail 4.5 and I am experiencing a difficulty when I am trying to create a signature adding the logo in jpeg or pdf file and send it. The recipient if is not using Mac Mail receives the signature always as an attachment. I am using rich text format message since there is no html in Mac and I drag and drop the jpg to the signature creation window. I have also activated Send Windows -Friendly attachmend but the recipient keeps receiving the logo as attached and not inline.

Mar 26, 2012I am trying to extract only email addresses out of Mac Mail so I can then use as input into address book or a mass mailer app. I have about 10,000 emails that need to be scanned. I have found an applescript at[URL].. which seems to have the right intent but not being an applescript expert when I run it it only creates a new workbook with the correct column headings and no content. I point it at the right mailbox. I have about 7 different mailboxes which hold emails received about a particular product which is the title of the mailbox (eg red product, black product). I figure I can produce an excel file for each mailbox and then join them togetehr adding a new column called product and populating it for the added products.

"The SMTP server “smtp.me.com” rejected the password for user “jt0229” Enter your password again or cancel."
I don't even know what this password is. From what I can tell, it's not the same pw as for "me.com".
