When I switched to ICloud I thought my Apple ID and password would work for Apple store. It turns out they have a different Apple ID at the Apple store with a diferent password that I do not remember. HOw can I make the ICloud Apple ID and password work for all other platforms?

I am a MOBILE ME user for about 5 years. I just bought an IPHONE 3GS. I create an ICLOUD account with a certain APPLE ID on the IPHONE. When I try to download any APP from the Appstore, another apple id it is being ask. I restore 3 time to the original factory settings, but the problem pesists.

I have been trying to download Cloud 1.I put my Apple ID and Password in.It didn't take.I changed my password and it still didn't take.Also, when I tried to download mobile me, it wanted my 'member name and ID'.Is that separate? When I first set icloud up it wouldn't recognise my apple id but I made a new apple id and then managed somehow to get my apple ID for itunes store and icloud to be the same. However, I have just updated my iphone operating system and when it asked me in the initial setting up process for my Apple ID which is an email address it wouldn't recognise it again! Grrr! So the only way to get into my phone was to create another Apple ID for icloud on Iphone. Â
I now have one apple ID for my iphone icloud, for online icloud and for itunes purchases, and another for the support communities and icloud on my macbook! When I tried to log into the 'manage my account' with the new ID it switched mid process to my old one?! Why can't apple just allow me to manage my ID, where are the options?I can't upload my photostream from my Mac because the online icloud is using the new ID but I can't change the Apple ID in icloud system preferences anywhere!

I don't know why but a recently I've been asked to enter my icloud password related to my iCloud e-Mail address. stupidly, I've forgot what my password is. is there a chance to reset it somehow?Â
To explain the situation a bit better and what I've tried already, here a short discription of the situation:Â
- I do have a appleID that is called firstname.lastname@gmail.com the related password is appleID_Password1.
with this combination I also conduct my purchases in iTunes and the AppStore. But to rule this possibility already out: It doesn't let me access my iCloud eMail account in Apple Mail. Funny enough, though, when visiting iCloud.com this is the combination with which I log onto iCloud incl it's mail service within the web browser.Â
- the iCloud eMail address for whose password I am looking is called something like abcde@me.com. I have implemented it into my Apple Mail program running on Mac OS X Lion. Since setting up the account i've never ever been asked to enter my password. But now, out of a sudden, I was. And, of course, I couldn't remember it anymore. Hence, I don't receive any eMails sent to abcde@me.com anymore on my mac.Â
Can somebody tell me how to fix it, if it is not the password for my appleID??
