Mac App Store Doesn't Recognize Apps
Mar 7, 2012I have a Macbook Pro which is almost three years old.Applications like iLife and iWorks were installed on the computer long before there was the Mac Ap Store.These apps, and others on my computer, do not show up as Instaled in the App Store so I can't update them unless I use the old Software Update or the vendor's site.I don't want to purchase the apps again but is there any way to "register" these apps so the app store knows they are on my computer?

Jul 5, 2012I recently updated my Apple ID but when I attempt to update my apps on the iPad, the app store keeps asking for the password for an older ID.The former IDwas used when I purchased most of the apps but that shouldn't matter, should it?How can I remedy this? PS I did enter the new ID and password into the iPad.

May 1, 2012Receiving individual Final Cut X redemption codes for our fleet of MAC Minis begs the question; "How do we deploy this software". There must be a better(easier faster way) than to download, install and configure each machine separately. (This will take weeks). This software cannot, it seems, be deployed by Apple Remote Desktop. Is there anyway of downloading FC X to one MAC and cloning the image to the rest of the fleet?

Apr 5, 2012I reside in Spain and I've recently opened a joint account with a US resident here in Los Angeles at Charles Schwab bank.The financial consultant told us it's possible to deposit checks into schwab account through an app for iphone [URL]I've tried to download but it appears the following window: "your application has not been able to complete" and "The article you requested is not available at this time in Spanish Store, but is available in the U.S. Store. Click Change Store to view this article". If I click to change the Store from the Spanish to the American store, I have to fill the data but my ID apple is not working on the "foreign" store. What can I do? Is there a way to buy / download items from a different Itunes stores?Â

May 30, 2012Under purchases I'm getting "you have not purchased any apps." Under Itunes in the Cloud all my apps are listed as hidden but when I click "view hidden purchases" it says I do not have any hidden purchases. I have three Macs and all are experiencing the same issue so this is an account problem and not a computer software problem. The funny thing is that it's still recognizing updates.Yes, I've tried signing out and back in to view my account with no luck. The only thing I did weird last night was I disabled the Itunes store and automatic downloading on one computer. This morning when I had the above problem I put all the settings back.Â

Apr 11, 2012I have performed OS software updates via the software update drop down menu. Â I chose to perform updates this way because downloads are faster than through the APP store. A 10.7.xx update via software update takes about 30 minutes for ~ 4 GB. If I use the APP store it take 4 to 5 hours.Â
Unfortunately, theAPP store does not recognize that my system is up to date.Â
Am I missing something?
