Im relatively new to mac, and I am building my own website on iWeb and im planning on trying to sell some of my own photos. I am going to set up a paypal account and am wondering how I can get it so people can pay me through paypal via a link on my Site.
View 3 RepliesAll a sudden tonight I tried purchasing an iPad app on iTunes when it instructed me to fix a billing issue with my PayPal account. I checked it and nothing was wrong, but iTunes still won't allow the payment. What the heck is going on?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure I'm posting to the right forum, but I figure I'd start here. I am interested in selling my Oct. 2005 Revision PowerBook G4 (1.67 ghZ 15") so that I can upgrade to a MacBook Pro before I leave for college. The easiest and most cost efficent way to do this would be through selling on eBay and using PayPal to accept payment. However, sites such as PayPalWarning.com have really given me the willies about doing it this way. I really am in no mood to have my reputation tarnished and my account left in significant debt while some fraudster buyer has my PowerBook and my money. Does anyone have any advice? Are these rare instances or are these common stories, in your experience? Is there a better way to sell on eBay, or the computer in general? I have a price in mind for what I want for it, and thus eBay or an equivilent seems the best way to go, rather than a resale shop.

There's a service you can use for building the site that has (supposedly) simple ways to do things like forums, and selling music online using paypal. There is a charge to use their web builder and hosting etc of course, and I already have that covered with mobile me.Cah I accomplish these things in iWeb? Have forums on a site, and set it up so we can sell music on the site using paypal?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe use Paypal to print off and pay for postage labels. Usually there are 2 or 3 pages depending on the country the label is for. Unfortunately, we don't need the customs label or the insurance page, so 2 out of 3 pages are a waste of ink and time and unfortunately again, these 2 unecessary pages have a habit of printing out first..Until I installed Snow Leopard last year. And magically the print order reversed and I was able to get my label off and cancel the rest.I got a new printer this week, and it's printing back in the old order Totally miffed. Anyway to affect the label order? It's going to save so much trouble

every time i open a site and click something it will direct me to a new site. this happens everytime without fail.. (on every site)Â also my web cam. I use safari on my imac. I was able to access a shared link (to access a briefcase) via a university website. It requires me to enter ID and password to access the briefcase. It also requires me to enter my ID and password whenever I click a new file in the briefcase. The shared link was okay until I let Safari remember my password. Now when I click the shared link, it says "Error 404! No such item". I am not able to access that shared link. Â
I tried to log on my imac with another user/account, and found out that the shared link is still working. I also tried to use my macbook and the link is working as well. So i guess that it must be something wrong when I let Safari remember my password the first time when I accessed that link. I have done Safari Reset and cleared all history, cookies, passwords, etc... but I am still not able to access that link under my own account. Â

I'm running OS 10.5.8 and using Firefox 3.5.7. When I Google something and click a result, 75% of the time I am redirected somewhere that was not the destination of the link. Other times I'll click a link and a giant white browser window will open behind current window taking up my whole screen. Another frequent occurrence is being directed to the site "theclickcheck". I have a registered version of MacScan and it comes up with nothing and my software is up to date. Where do I go from here?

View 9 Replies View RelatedOn both Safari and Chrome browsers, I have been using a particular website - ([URL] .... - this is a website of an institute I have enrolled with and needs a user id to access it) - since a year.
Earlier, on my mac, it would open the links to pdf files as also links to videos uploaded on their site.
However, since the past couple of months, I have not been able to access any of those. Whenever I click, there is absolutely no response from the website. It remains static. Although I am able to navigate through the various pages, but am not able to open anything at all.

When i click on an email link in a site to contact, then by default Mail app opens! Is there a way to override the opening with Mail and just simply be able to copy the email link in order to use it with my web based email acount?

View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyone out here using [URL] successfully? I have not been able to access the site for over 3 weeks. I keep getting an error message when trying to access the webmail:
"ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.
Query: CAPABILITY"
Nor am I able to get a hold of support (email bounces back). If anyone that is successfully using [URL:..] could you send an email to support telling them that numerous users are not able to access the the mail server. I guess this is provided that they haven't hung it up.
Just updated to lion this week and now I can't acces my website? Anyone else had issues?

Now I have a second Mac, a Mini, and I am trying to use it to work on my site but I can't figure out how to access the current site with iWeb. All it seems to want to do is create new sites. My site is saved to the "Sites" folder on my hard drive, and uploaded to my MobileMe space. Yet there doesn't seem to be any way to open the site, from either location, with iWeb on the Mini.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought this new MacBook Pro a month ago. When I try logging into my guest account, it froze. I had no other alternative but to get out of it by pressing the power button. Then I tried open a new user account to see if it also has the same problem. Unfortunately it did have the same problem - froze after I logged in. I had done a harddisk check, there seemed to be no problem.

I am unable to access links that are included in emails. I get an error message that says unable to access, then the site address, then No associated application could be found. when you sent a reply, I was unable to get the answer I am using Safari as my browser, this is a recent problem, a few days, the only thing that I have changed was to delete real player.

I'm confused as to whether this is only in the iOS iPhoto app or, if as stated a new feature of iCloud, should it be a new feature of iPhoto 9 as well? View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using this same router from atleast 6~7 months.. was working perfectly few days back though, but suddenly my ISP decided to (so called) upgrade there service... and since then i am not able to fully access few webpages... Youtube is not working... it shows broken links to the pictures and videos never load... Hotmail is not working... inbox opens but all the mails are scrambled... cannot open any mails... facebook is not showing pictures not even thumbnails...
and many other sites have the same issue... i am connecting my router to the ISP through PPPoE using a Username and Password... now the fun part is all these websites are working perfectly through the same router on a Windows PC... through Wireless and even through hard wired... the prob is only with both of my Macs (Macbook-core2duo & Mac Pro)... with both the connecting options...
So I have a google apps account with domain name. I have created a page in iweb and exported this to a folder. Is there anyway I can upload my created single page to my google apps domain name and bypass the crappy google apps page creator. I am sure that there is some way to do it under the godaddy.com domain registration panel, but I don't know how.
