When I receive an e-mail that has pictures (photos, etc.) attached, these seem always to be displayed in the message. That means that if I print the message, all the pictures are printed, too. How can I prevent this?
I want to download the attached pictures separately, but to print just the text of the incoming mail.

when printing a pdf file, the outcome is cutoff columns even though the preview shows the complete page. I downloaded Adobe reader again and also followed the directions to save file to pdf before printing, but then only a blank page.

I have been trying everything I can think of to get 2 PC's on our home network to print on my Canon MP610 which is connected via USB to my MacBook Pro and the two PC's recognise the printer and add it as a device but when I try to print, the message "access denied, unable to connect" is displayed. If it's of any relevance, I cannot get the PC's to access the Public folder on the MBP over the network either.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just recently decided to try iMap for my google mail so that I could more efficiently read my mail on my devices and computer. Since setting up iMap, I've had a strange problem. I will open a message and the message will not be from the person that the subject and headers say it is from. Example. I get a Kohl's email with headers from amazon and then in the Amazon email is my Kohl's message. They look fine if I access the emails online through a web browser, so somehow they are getting messed up after being downloaded into Mail. This did not happen when I was using the Pop method of accessing my email accounts.

I have received an email in graphical HTML format — a series of venues and dates for a band in the form of a grid. It shows up beautifully in webmail, but in Apple Mail it shows uselessly as unformatted and unpunctuated text. Is there any setting in Mail prefs., or some other subterfuge, that would allow such emails to show properly in Mail?

I am using OSX 10.9.3 on mid 2011 Macbook Pro. I am working in Apple mail and e-mail thru a google account and a pop3 account.
My question is: How do I stop, copies of my (as I am) composing e-mail, from showing up in the mail trash. I can have as many copies in the mail trash as the number of words in my message. I have looked thru the mail, apple support (non fee based) and thru FAQ in communities.
Using Yahoo in Outlook on OS X Mountain Lion - deleted emails repeatedly reappear in in-box after a minute or so, but when I delete them from the Trash they no longer reappear. This has been going on for weeks

However, I just bought a HP C7280 and all my pictures seem to come out very low on the magenta/red side. Rather than having to either recalibrate my monitor and edit all the thousands of pictures I have to warm them up, is there any way that I can just calibrate the printer to print a bit 'redder'?

She has a trial account currently, so from what I understand is tomorrow I go buy the family pack box set, set up my account (which will be the master account), cancel her account (disable synching on her iPhone before hand), add her account under account options in my account, and viola.Now here's my question:Since we will both be on the same 'family pack,' will she be able to view my emails, find my iPhone, pictures, or anything else? I have an iMac with a directly attached USB drive and a Mac PowerBook attached via WIFI to the same network. I would like to have both devices back up to the shared drive via Time Machine. To date I have been able to get this to work, in a limited fashion. As soon as the iMac goes to sleep the PowerBook cannot see the drive and the backup fails. I would think that since I have selected the power option on the iMac to wake up for network access that this should work. This sounds like a simple requirement, I tryed to attach the USB drive to my Airport Extreme and we all know that that does not work.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI know about the "actual size" button, dragging from the desktop instead of using iPhoto, checking outgoing size with control-click Quick Look, Send Windows-friendly attachments, etc., but none fix the problem. All JPG attachments get reduced to thumbnail size. I have to zip them and the recipient then needs to decompress them to get the full size images.
Is there a way to reset all preferences without uninstalling/reinstalling? I don't want to have to archive/export mailboxes and then reimport.

When I try to open on preview I get completely blank pages. The websiteis a secure website.
I'm using a canon isensys LBP7750 with UFR ii driver. I read in the printer utility help desk that it may not work with Adobe reader v 6.0. I have downloaded the most recent printer drivers and Adobe software. I tried running PostScript but the printer just keeps pausing.
