My little son play with my computer and I don't know how he press something and now a little black window pop up. The window give an explanation on what I click on. When I open any web page every word is highlighted. What should I do to eliminate the window?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem with my new Macbook Pro Retina. Every time I turn on the computer, the desktop wallpaper resets itself to a black backround. Once I open the wallpaper chooser and choose the galaxy or any other default wallpapers, it sets the background to that, but the second I reboot the machine, I lose that background. Has anyone else ever had that problem with OSX Lion, or have a potential fix for it?

I heard people said you can partition your Window desktop so that it can run Mac OS, is that true? and what do they mean by partition? When I move a window around the desktop, the image inside it distorts really badly. I have tried a new graphics card, but still does the same. I have booted up from a different system but still the same. It is a Mac pro 4.1 with a GT120 video card. Took the card to work today and tried it in my mac at work and it worked fine. Brought my video card and hard drive from work and put it into my mac at home and the same thing happened. Any body got any clue to what it is. Really don't feel like forking out for a new Logic board. Also, when I scroll down with the mouse, the text stretches in the window.

I usually have several desktops open, and want to have a separate Finder window open in whichever desktop I happen to be working in. But it always opens in a desktop where it's always running. Then I have to go get it and put it where I want it.Â

I'm running 10.6.5 and have MobileMe iDisk syncing turned on - which I like and use.
Is there a way to remove the iDisk icon from the Desktop at all as I really like an empty desktop?
I was playing around with a .mac trial account and got the iDisk icon on my desktop. When I try to drag it to the trash bin the trash bin changes and says eject, but nothing happens when I release the mouse. It seems that there is no way for me to delete this icon.

I have been offered update on Adobe Reader appx 12 times now and it has been accepted and closed other programs to install. It 9.5.1 version. Now I have two pdf files on my desktop 28bea10-8739248572913388.pdf and a similar one which cannot be trashed or removed from the desktop. A sign comes up cannot be deleted therefore cannot be removed from the desktop.
