I have Firefox installed on my administrator account. I added a second account for another user and Firefox is not in the Dock or Application folder. I don't want to install it twice, how do I make it available to other users on the same computer?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy original boot drive went south and won't boot. However, I can access all the docs and folders when using it as a second, 'data' drive. I have a new boot drive with a fresh copy of OSX installed.
How can I copy my applications over to the new drive? Is there any way to retain my old preferences/setups in the applications.
I'm so not wanting to start from scratch with every program.
I've set up my Hotmail account with POP and Httpmail. Everything looks good up until the point it gets my mail and this is where things goes wrong. It DOESNT get mail. T_T no mail shows up whatsoever on the bottom left it says getting mail. 1xxx out of 1xxx and the bar goes to full but no mail shows up.

I don't want this account exposed, especially to the likes of craigslist as that's a big time spam magnet and for potential scammers. What's going on with the Mail application? I checked my settings and all my account information is correct. This has just started happening recently so it must have been an update or something? I checked my "sent" folder and it's showing as the mail has gone out through the right email account but I got a response showing it was sent to my private account.

my iTunes store is registered under an old email address and I wanted to change this address to my MobileMe address.iTunes would not let me change the address to an existing MobileMe account, but I was successful in creating my .me account seperately. Ok.
Now my problem/question: I no longer wish to use my old @rogers account and only want to use my @me. iTunes will not recognize my previous purchases made from the @rogers when logged in using my new @me. Fair enough... so now I would like to transfer all my purchases from the old account to my new MobileMe.
Can this be done?? I certainly am unable to do this from my side.
Every time I put itunes music files into my shared folder from the administrator's account then try to drop it into my itunes library on my other account, it says I do not have write access and should check my music folders.
